RQuick Showcase of what is to come in the next NPP update before I start config work: Starting with Facelifts; 2017 SBR4 Facelift Like 99's mod, but repaired to the most recent version, the S turbo's were broken (causing instabilities) so I swapped them out for the 2.5 F4, but the TTS2 Turbo's worked perfectly so all it took was the Vanilla Turbo Block and all Instabilities sorted. Miramar 'A' Facelift Only available in Europe and Asia, the Miramar A is a sought after classic, the 1.9 engine is standard, with the only 1.6 being the GTz, the Luxe is only available in automatic and the mirrors on the Base and GTz have been moved up to the doors. Detroit Club Racers. Raw modified muscle built with engines below 400cui's, stripped out to handle tracks like beasts. Mild aero and race tires make these a force to be reckoned with. Diverse Dirt Racing Multiple cars have now got the dirt racer treatment (Miramar, Burnside) and existing cars have got new configs and parts to play with. Automatic Offroaders Alternate versions of the Offroad Hopper and D-series have been added, with a different style to their manual counterparts.
I finally managed to do an eight-notch throttle for the FS30-2 with my crappy Lua skills. The diesel-electrics have this 8-notch throttle, other transmissions use the ordinary throttle. The dynamic brake system is now much better. It no longer uses thrusters and the brake resistors have thermals. They can overheat, burn, explode and break. Making the Lua code with very little experience took way too much time but it was worth it.
not sure if/when i'll make this into it's own thread, but here's a heavily WIP model of a knockoff Sherp ATV. it'll need a name since it's not a complete copy of it, something strong and russian. so far i'm deciding between 2 different exhaust options (side exit and rear exit), and i'm trying to figure out if the rear windows are a good or bad idea. powered by a 1.5L boxer-4 turbodiesel, making around 50hp and 110lb-ft of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual, this amphibious ATV is capable of crawling over/through/around just about anything. good luck getting it stuck, and good luck finding a path it can't make it's way through in some way. Inspiration comes from @Blijo and his little RC vehicle with the dual-motor steering control note: anything is subject to change at any time
Looks very interesting I would get rid of the rear windows since they look akward on it. Maybe make slightly different cab of your own design. Good luck with it! Welp. Blender 2.79 was not running on my computer for some reason. However, installing a late beta for 2.80 works just fine! :/ So I guess I'm revisiting an old project of mine for now.
working on a fix for AR162B's grand marshal addons --- Post updated --- Update: added skinnable flags, fixed suspension on limo (thanks nodeoffset), added low suspension configs, and fixed more textures. Also got it working in the grand marshal slot (took me forever) release soon?
Really great man! Trains are the most underdeveloped mod for this game, and I would really like to see more, because I plan on making a working railway network on my island map.
