I recently downloaded DrowsySam's ''Create_A_Map" map and i finished editing everything but i opened up one of the files with notepad and now it won't go back to a ''mis'' file. Also i need to know how you change the description, Picture and name so its not ''Create_A_Map'' and so i don't have a ''Torque 3D'' picture along with a description that Drowsysam made.

In order to save things in non-txt format in notepad, select "All files *.*" from the dropdown instead of ".txt", and put .mis at the end of the filename.

I haven't created a map yet, so can't help with your other problems. :(

Getting a preview image is actually easy enough. You just paste the image you want to use into the same folder as the .mis file and name it "YourMapName_preview" and that is all you need to do.

I think that to change the name and description you open the level in BeamNG and go into the edit map window. Then select the "level info" object (it is alongside your height map and trees etc) and i think the parameters there will let you change that.
