Yeah, somewhat like that; the first teaser is somewhere in the beginning of the race, while the second teaser is near the middle of the race. Anyway, Chapter 11 Part 1 is now out!
As we approach the ending, our editing process has gotten more intense. We want to give you the best possible ending we can! Chapter 11 will be coming soon.
We're on hiatus for the moment - Chapter 12 is proving to be a bit of a tough one to crack. Rest assured that we have intentions to continue.
DriftinCovet here... Sorry for not having been super communicative, but I ran into a bit of a writer's block from November to February. Thankfully, I've gotten out of the block, and I can say that we've been getting the beginning of Chapter 12 sorted out pretty well. I'm not sure when we'll be able to complete it, but I hope that we can get this story out the door within a few months or so - but thankfully, we don't have to do too much with the end of Chapter 12. That's far better-sorted than the beginning. Stay tuned.
Thanks! Anyway, here's a teaser for Chapter 12 Part 1: “But I think that I would’ve also chased Percy off the racing scene if I had spread a rumor that he’s a great racer," Carla said. "Isn’t that right, Percy?” I'm going to be splitting Chapter 12 into three separate parts, instead of my typical two, as there are three scenes in the chapter and I don't want to stop the action mid-scene. Also, can anyone tell me how to add rain to a level? I've tried looking for solutions, and I haven't found any that work (for all I know, weather could have been removed from Beam).
>tfw a random comes up with a more brilliant title for Chapter 3 than myself, the author Thanks, and good job.
First teaser for Chapter 12 Part 2: “I know this is really awkward timing," Penelope said, "but…are you up for a rematch?"
Looks like h- I mean she almost crashed into a tree. --- Post updated --- I mean, look at the pic, looks like a car nearly crashed
Bump, but it's my thread and I actually have something to say. I don't know how I forgot this, but Chapter 12 Part 3 is now out! Enjoy! (Really sorry about not updating you guys in a while, but I didn't have much to publish.)
So, I might as well give you all a bit of very basic info on Firwood as Rusty writes the Epilogue for Selva. *The majority of its events will happen between August 21-24, 1997. *Firwood, Maine (ECA) and Hirochi Raceway will feature in Firwood, but mention will be made of at least two other towns in the county - Fir Rocks (a smaller town 5 miles east of Firwood) and the county seat (currently named Bremen, as a reference to both the home of BeamNG and the real-life town of Dresden, Maine). *Firwood County is mostly based upon the real-life Sagadahoc County in Maine - except smaller and more square. *My own custom race series will feature in the story. To put it simply, it's a Grand Touring Classic-type affair, where any production passenger vehicle made before 1990 (basically every car in the game) can participate by either being custom-modified or being turned into a classic race car that competes in one of five race classes. This means that I'm not limited to just Bolides, 200BXs, and the like - instead of having to beg for some more '90s race cars, I can just search through skin packs for appropriate-looking vehicles from any era and plop them into the screenshots. *@titleguy1's BeamNG-Automation Packs will feature in this story solely as background vehicles for some screenshots. For those who detest Automation vehicles for some reason, there will be no Automation vehicle characters. *Chapters will be much shorter than in Selva - I'm aiming for less than 2,000 words per chapter, although some will be about 2,500 words. *There will be some minor edits to Firwood in the story - mostly in the town shops, as having five Firwood Cafes in one tiny town is completely unrealistic. There will be many more businesses in the ECA of Firwood - some of them will be vital to the plot. If you have any questions about the map, race series, or the Green Ghost universe, feel free to ask them. I will not be answering questions related to the plot or characters for a while.
