So the problem is that when i change to resolution to 1600 x 900 (which ive always used) from 1920 x 1080 when in fullscreen, it does not change to resolution to match the screen. Instead it only uses the 1600 x 900 portion of the screen, which doesnt go away until ive had the game off for a few minutes.
No idea if its the computer or game but i cant find a fix for it.

seems like a computer issue since appearently other games now also have this issue

That could be monitor setting too, check how scaling is set up, also there was setting at least in Nvidia control panel for how to scale I believe, maybe that has changed or some update has maybe changed how it works?

I updated drivers and restarted, didnt fix, i changed those settings too but no difference, but for now i need to change the resolution of the monitor in control panel. Maybe needs a restart, which i will check later

edit: have checked, no difference. However, csgo for some reason changes the monitor resolution instead of using a portion of the screen, but i believe that might just be the windowed fullscreen
