Game is not playable

Hi, i just purchased a game from humble bundle early access installed it but the car doesn't move in any mode.
Please help

You need to use arrow keys or reconfigure the controls to use wasd.

 

I tried every key, it didn't work, What do you mean reconfigure controls? Im not that good with computers, I bought this game for my 8 year old son to play

I'm just not sure if issue is with controls or if there is something else happening here.

When you load a map, you see a pick up truck I believe?

To reconfigure controls, follow this guide I hacked together quickly...

Then press esc key to bring up the menu (ignore green numbers on top left in my screenshot):


Click Options (three lines that are orange on left edge of the screen in this screenshot), then click word controls to open controls menu:


Then click Vehicle and you should see screen below, you can then click control for acceleration, which defaults UP and after that press other key, for example W to bind key with acceleration:


Remember to choose Apply from bottom to actually write change:


Do that for steer left, steer right and brake to make sure that keys are mapped to ones that you can use.

If nothing of that works, then post again and we need to try to figure out what else it could then be.

 

Try ALT+ENTER to un-fullscreen it.. and then make sure the window is focused.. (ALT+TAB)

also press Hardware tab in the controls section, check that the keyboard is being recognised..

 

The Samsung 9 Pro is a computer...

I googled samsung 9 pro and got results for a phone, sorry

 

They are just related ads, I checked an not one of them is a '9 Pro', I believe what he was referring to was the Samsung Notebook 9 Pro, which is the image I previously attached.

Although this is off topic, so no need to discuss it further.

 

I googled the specs of the laptop you mentioned, and it seems, unfortunately, your pc can not run BeamNg. So the reason the car wont move may be lag.

 

I highly doubt lag would be the reason why the car won't move
