With such a bricky roofline, maybe, but those old V6 engines can get surprisingly good mileage at a cruise.
Yeah, but compared to other vehicles of the time it is a bit high. Aerodynamics in beamNG are not great though, which adds to fuel mileage of in-game cars being a bit off. It's current system just considers the angle of attack and airspeed of each coltri, and doesn't consider it as a solid vehicle. For those of you who have played kerbal space program, this is more of less now it handles aerodynamics too, unless you have the FAR mod installed. But that mod tanks the fps in ksp, so I can't imagine what a similar full cross-sectional simulation would do to beamNG. But that's enough off topic, we can make the devs pull their hair out over a full aero system in another thread.
Don't want to see? How about autonomous vehicles. Kinda' defeats the whole purpose of a driving game as far as I can tell.
I agree ,as it stands, it is quite a useless mode, but I'm hoping it's one of thw daily activities you can choose to work at so that you can earn daily cash for all the stuff you wreck lol Back on topic: anything 50s to 60s that's based on a GM. I guess thw burnside probably already fits in that category lol
Paid DLC and Micro-transactions. Not sure how you'd put Micro-transactions in a Car Crash Sandbox game, but you know, none of that bullshit. Also apparently I'm the unpopular one because I'd like to see human like figures or crash test dummies officially added into the game.
I think that some sort of character, even if it just is a moving crash dummy could help with worldbuilding. But then again, I dont see anything else that they would add to the game so yea
Yes, ok. I see what you’re saying in that sense. I more meant sitting inside a “Google Car” and being driven by the machine in the first person.
Lets see..... Paid DLC Badly designed IRL vehicles Bad Maps Anything that badly affects the performance of the game Anything with Spyware in it Motorbikes (yes its been done before with the Darren9 guy before he got banned for reasons unknown) Russian Mods (forgot that one ) I think that covers 6 things that come to my mind
Generally, when the community refers to 'Russian mods' it refers to mods made by users in Russia, with little regard for copyright law, jbeam structures, virus protection, or really anything that resembles original work. In fact, the behavior of this contingent of modders (not to mention the repeated actions of the infamous troll Ivan Lochov) make me genuinely nervous about what might happen if a Russian vehicle was ever released - That would probably cause the game's Russian playerbase to expand. Now, that's not to say that would nessecarily be a bad thing - there are many well-behaved, respectful forum users who join us each day from Russia - but the sheer number of stolen models and even mods copied-and-pasted out of the forums that turn up with Cyrillic text give me pause. All that's a shame, given that I'd actually like to have a piece of old Iron Curtain Iron puttering around as an official vehicle. We may have to settle for East German instead of fully Russian content.
Huh, im making a full russia expansion lol Like, we talking map, vehicles, missions and time trails and maybe a campaign
I've driven two midsize FWD pushrod V6 GM sedans on various road trips in real life (1990 Lumina with a 3.1, and 2000 Alero with a 3.4) and both were able to get 30 MPG with the cruise control on. So the Legran should be able to do the same with the 3.3 V6 at least, if not the 3.8.
