Having 18 jbeam nodes hold the CH plate on front definitely doesn't help either

Yes i see now. I will take it down. I see many of you just do not get how much work this was to build and set up.

    All the best CrashHard.

Thanks for the first taste of it, is there any chance you can reduce the Jbeams to make it a little more computer friendly?

If you look at the "forces" view in the debug menu, you will see your truck, the cab in particular, experiences a lot of forces even when standing still. Although it is acceptable for suspension components to experience constant forces, non-structural members should not. I suggest you do your best to remove or minimize these high force "hot-spots", it should add a decent amount of performance without having to remove any nodes at all.

Sorry... that's not how I meant my statement at all. I love all the hard work that was put into this thing as it is a beautiful display of craftsmanship!

man, we understand what went into it. it's an amazing mod, ive watched all the progress videos and seen it develop over the year. it's an incredible vehicle. we just want to be able to enjoy driving and crashing it, a lot of people are missing the huge amount of effort that's gone into it. we're not asking for a completely different thing. all we're asking for is a little bit of optimisation to make it more user-friendly. im sorry if it seems like we're putting down your work, i cant speak for everyone but we can tell how much has gone into this. we just wanna be able to play with it

It is just so insanely frustrating to work so long on something, the I get wining, "why is is so laggy" "i get 14fps now, but all the other mod is 60fps" "you need to optimize this" "you have way to many beams/nodes" THIS IS THE MOD!!
either you understand that, if you do not understand, this mod is not for you.
I wanted to give up many a time when trying to get this mod to work, and remember I have always built stuff for my videos and channel FIRST, trying to top myself every time, to set my self apart from all the other videos and channels.

I didn't mean any disrespect by posting my fix here. I just wanted to help a bit. I didn't mean anything by posting it. I can delete it if that would be better. Again I'm if I caused any disrespect

In case some of you overlooked at the first line of this mod, it is clearly indicated :

this mod is made heavy on purpose , Crash hard wanted to push the limit of the game physics, with a very huge, and detailed machine, and this is a very very good one.
He put a very huge amount of work on this mod, and be nice enough to share it with everyone, so please all respect this ! Make a lighter and less detailed version can represent 100+ hours of additional work, it's not that easy !
In the name of the team, a big thanks to you @Crash Hard 01 , please keep it up modding and doing these incredible videos :)

I would recommend checking this out, as I have seen that there is lots of force exerted on parts. If that can be fixed it should help with performance. But not take away from the content of the mod, as we know that you’ve put a lot of work into this. I like the mod, and with the right settings, I can get decent frames, so it’s fun. I take it to the tough truck map of yours a lot. If that force thing can be easily fixed that could be cool, if not, you’ve already put a lot of effort into this, so leaving it as is would be alright.

It really is one of the finest mods out there for pushing the game to its limit and he did that and its truly awesome nothing comes close to this for sheer physics alone, its definitely stands apart from the rest!

Even though I agree everyone on here has talked a bit of smack about how rough it is on their own systems, its definitely one of the most fun vehicles out there to mess with, its a pity this vehicle cant be run on like 4 CPU cores to make it less laggy but who cares its utterly awesome regardless even if it brings the game to its knees!

I did not know this, and how to test for it, now this is helpful, thank you.

    Aye, pushing boundaries is cool!

It's also a nice test-case for the physics performance on a single vehicle

If you wanted to do a physics test on the game, would you make use of this vehicle to test the physics engine?

I do like that its pushing the boundaries BUT the one thing i see with the super low FPS is the fact that the gears inside the axles do move and the vehicle has been detailed to the point

    {P.s i dont know if anyone has mentioned about the gears moving inside the axles}

    It's possible, why not? :)
I'm pretty sure @estama is checking how much stress this beast is putting on the engine :D

So far I think it's the single vehicle with most nodes/beams ever so far!

I think that this mod is very important to game as it shows how modders can reach limits when pushing their vehicles for ultra realistic levels and knowing the limits dev team might have more reason to consider ways to make physics of one vehicle to use more of modern CPU potential, not necessarily causes springing to action, but something devs might like to keep in mind after seeing this mod in practice.

I think it is really good experiment in that sense and there always is more learning for everyone, new ideas and ways can be learned, better ways to achieve desired goals etc. So it is very very good expriment in that sense.

Never give up, people that attempt to push limit giving that all 200% of themselves to cause are needed and you have shown something incredible here. Also I'm sure lot of people have learned also a lot, some from communications, some from something else, there always is learning :)

To be honest I would check with @Crash Hard 01 firstly if hes perfectly cool about the devs using his mod for a sledgehammer to break the game, but if its already peaking the attention of Estama that is already good news to hear I mean this game brings computers to their knees already and god knows what its doing to the physics engine, to be honest this is an ideal test vehicle as it is already, maybe you could get a "BeamNG Physics Test Vehicle" skin for it too, have one as a low res version for the light stuff to this monster of a vehicle to bring the game to its knees...

I would say a triple bendy bus has far more nodes but its something worth checking out there, but its something worth checking out, getting a few of the most demanding mods from the forums and using them as Physics engine testers would be ideal, I mean its just a thought

Of course devs can play with mods same way users can, right? :D

Oh definitely, I would just have a set of vehicles that stress the physics engine of this game to the max to the point of breaking, but if the Devs wanna have fun WHY NOT they can have as much fun as they like, they alter the game to make anything happen!
