Update Speculation thread

I really don't see this being a big update.

December to April is fairly standard. Figure they worked hard on a big update last December and decided to throw some little extra things in as mentioned by Nadeox which pushes the update out to early May. I don't anticipate any major surprised being shipped.

 

Atleast a talk about 4 pixels was still speculating an update.

Any talk about the new menus and editor I guess?

 

İ would like to get more info regarding dyno for cars. We haven't heard of it for a while.

 

I think they said it was scrapped.

The port and area around the castle/fort/thing is finished

There's a fire department

 

Everything I found, not sure if I missed anything.

 

these are the changes I could find: the fire station and petrol station in the bottom right, some extra foliage on the peninsula above that. the docks also seem complete, though there don't seem to be any noticeable changes to the castle from here. there's also the extra buildings added to the village to the left of the castle, and the building to the bottom left was moved slightly.

 

I'm pretty sure a bright yellow pixel representing an eSBR is there, too...

Managed to finally make a damn GIF of this.

 

Are we going to have a competition for who can do the most interesting thing to that pic now?

 

I mean, working gas stations would be pretty cool and potentially a good feature for career mode.

I mean a synsol has a convertible legran mod, I am confused why its not in the base game given that he is a dev.

Potentially, there really isn't any indication when we will get it, with the exception of the fact that there hasn't been an update in a while, but that doesn't really indicate when it will come out, just that there is potential for it to be released.

Photoshop (Elements 9). But most decent image editing software will do it, including the free ones.

All you need to do is split the image into two, and overlap the two layers. Then just change the layering algorithm from "Normal" to "Difference".
