you won't have to wait long. All he is waiting for is family alongside him (his friends that are aiding this mod) to have a look over it. Have a look earlier on to what he said!
Sorry for the lack of activity lately, but IRL I've slipped a bit. I and my family are seeking appropriate attention and care, and I'm trying to take some time for myself instead of modding or other things. I'm hoping this doesn't effect the development of the mod (I'm still waiting on @atv_123 at this point in time,) but should I become inactive for a significant period of time (Say a few months,) atv has my full permission to release the mod, and continue to support the project. Stay tuned, either way I'm trying to ensure there will be a release of this project
100% agree w/ you. My favorite car in Horizon 2 & 3 has always been the Cosmo. It's just so unique, especially with that rotary engine.
I hope you're doing alright, creating a mod is peanuts compared to creating a person, so put yourself before this project. As mentioned by others, good luck in these next months and I hope your situation improves!
most likely not. No vehicles i have ever downloaded have a working odometer. so i'd presume it wouldn't.
*only* and i wonder why that is? Coding the odometer would take forever. And with how tight drivers time schedule is (I.e his personal life) i wouldn't believe there would be a working odometer. So don't get your hopes up.
I did not expect that. Because if you look at the time that it toke to create the satsuma and all the updates is redicouls (Sorry if it is spelled incorectly)
Trust me, i never said u said that, but it takes a good few lines of code to make a working odometer. If you asked mike he'd probably tell you he spent way too many. Making a working odometer takes way too much time and from what driver does, he doesn't need to have a working odometer. ever drove his vendetta? that thing handled like a dream.
Hi welcome to the forums Unfortunately no there won't be a working odometer, I lack the experience or the patience atm to do that, and as far as I can tell it would require a significant amount of work on the gauges model and textures in order to do it properly. As for current progress, I'm waiting on atv_123 still, he's very busy IRL so he hasn't had a chance to look over the stuff I've asked him to yet.
Because it isn't on hold yet. Just be patient It's still being worked on. I haven't called it off, and I don't see any need to change the thread prefix yet. If anything I'm still tinkering with stuff in the meantime and doing some other things in relation to the mod. What atv_123 will be doing is more/less testing and providing feedback, and possibly doing some tweaks and helping me with some JBeam stuff. atv has told me that he will be able to look over it by the end of the month or so. If not, no big deal.
Well, I have always been a fan of these cars but never known too much about them. They're a true and pure classic Japanese sports car and they look simply stunning. Speaking of stunning looking things, this mod already looks like possibly the best mod to have graced BeamNG.Drive, in my opinion at least. When I first saw this mod I thought that it would die like so many other attempts at cars like this, but you've made it, well done! Also, I know that it has specifically been asked for us not to suggest names, but may I just say that when I see 'Mazda Cosmo' I can't help but also see 'Masda Cozmo'!
