I know about the hight poly issue.
Though I'm not sure that that's what actually causes spiking as people seem to say. It might just be caused by tris which are too long; i.e. models with terrible polygon flow. Or well, no polygon flow.
Not sure what to do about the poly situation though, because getting rid of a lot of it leaves with a very rough and angular looking mesh which is undesirable. The stock vehicles look fairly high poly too though, to be honest. I'll have to compare with multiple in-game vehicles as this mesh progresses.

I am keeping these things in mind. Just haven't found a solution to them yet.

I'm not terribly sure it's too high poly. This is the ETKc which as you can see has a pretty detail mesh.

I think for now I'm fairly safe on polys. Yes, I can optimise some, get rid of some here and add others here.

I do appreciate all of the feedback though, it helps more than one would expect!

Great model, I think you could dissolve some edge loops on the hood without loosing it's shape.

It won’t. It’s not even that closely related to an E-class.

It's based on a recent model Volvo S90 for the general shape of the vehicle. Front has a bit of a muscle car styling to it with the shape of the "grille". I suppose the lower cutout where the foglights are might be reminiscent of an E220d.

The rear trunk length is not based on anything... mainly because modern day saloons have extremely short trunk-lids. I just prefer it long so I made it long. The rear lights are somewhat inspired by the recent Audi A8.

Been busy with life lately. Did some more work on the Stallion. Got the general shape of the car. Now working on the actual details and under frame. Using a lot of ETK geometry but messing with it to fit mine.

Had a go at making a rim and baking a normal map from the high poly to the low poly. Let's just say I tried.
Back to the drawing board with this.

Did some more work. The door jambs are now basically complete unless I missed something that isn't supposed to be textured on an albedo or normal map.
The front internals are cut out of the ETK800 and adapted to fit this car. I've hidden all of the fenders, doors, windows, and bumpers hence why you can't see them. I didn't delete them. Don't worry.

you don't have to at all, but could you also make a trunk that has no light bar across it as an extra? It's not mandatory but I think it would please both types of people that like light bars and others who don't (like me). If not. I'll still download it cause its a beauty!! Im constantly looking for new sedans in the game! Great work !

Haven't been working on it much recently due to exams. Decided to throw together a potential hood ornament and make some nice "teaser" renders.
Note: this car is very far from finished, renders are deceiving.

Stallion is already a car in GTA universe, I'd change that to avoid confusion.

    Why should I change it?

Besides, I've never heard of the stallion in gta, I now know it exists but it doesn't seem like a popular car. I don't think there will be any confusion.
    And also,
"Gavril Grand Stallion" has a nice ring to it.

The fact that you ar going to be using elk 800 jbeam means that you can afford a few extra polies, cause, the way it works (I’m pretty sure) is that , the more polys you have, the more detailed jbeaim you need, in order for those polies to deform right. Since the etk 800 has a pretty detailed model itself, the jbeam matched that, so it might work out ok, but I would still try (if I were you) to reduce some polys in places where you can. Otherwise, it looks great!

This will be on hold until further notice.

I'm putting this on hold because I've decided to asses my life choices and figure out what to do with my other hundreds of projects mainly for Rolling Line as well as proper real-world applications I'm working on.

Thank you for your understanding. :D

I really like the name Gavril Grand Stallion, although, maybe you could consider this being a 2021 model of the Bruckell Moonhawk, I feel that we don't get many Bruckell mods (You could also call it the Bruckell Stallion)
