I have broken mk4 golf too, and I'm going to get rid of it. My repair costs are less expensive, but I personally just don't like this car.

 

I usually dont like vw but i somehow like it but repairing it for 1700 is just not feasable for a car that only is worth 2 grand

 

Is there an RC group or something on here? I am getting into some electric RC car stuff, yesterday I dropped some serious bank on a bunch of stuff to build/modify a WPL C24 kit, looking forward to seeing how fast I can make it. Wanted to see if there was a group or something where I can ask questions about LiPo batteries, motors etc (basically wanted to see if what I bought will work together nicely)

 

Depends on the model, and, more importantly, your personal attachment to it. If you've been wanting to switch cars, sell it, and if you haven't, keep it and fix it.

I have a Traxxas raptor that needs some fixing. RCs are fun to work on. They're like working on a car, except the stakes and costs involved are low. I'm a fan of it.

 

I have a traxxas slayer electric converted. Kinda nuts as it retains the original nitro gearbox, and being an old slayer not a slayer Pro it's the same size as a 1/10th Traxxas slash (even has Slash wheels and body), yet it's got a 1/8th scale motor on it and weighs double. Slashes are plastic tub chassis, slayer is a thick stamped steel job

Had my birthday on the 6th March, went out to dinner for that, also been planning a get together with my year from High School and a few other things to be honest and now just thinking about it I have done so much since my last post in this area of the forums....mostly been keeping silent and going around editing the wiki pages removing "roleplay pictures" referencing "Firwood, Maine, USA" and "Photographed in Utah" YET AGAIN! *Glares at an unnamed member on the forums* yes you know who you are, also been requested that people in the BeamNG Wiki contributors be the ONLY ones allowed full access (excluding special pages and stuff that is kept locked) to be able to edit information throughout the wiki, standard members should only be allowed to edit their pages and their pages ONLY!, so yeah, thats been my life for the past few months and other that that on here, well there is one thing, I have edited core files to add in additional units and I felt needed to be there in my own opinion yes I can edit them and I can make it look to spec with the official game code
