Not as fast no, but it does turn into a solid gunk that clogs pumps and injectors

Maybe its different here in America because we put ethanol free gas in my current daily because it was my grandma's and she stopped driving. When I got a battery in it, the car started right up after sitting for 2 years. The fuel pump died a few weeks later due to water getting into the tank. When it was replaced, the tank was about as clean as it would be on a normally operating car.

It takes much longer to gunk up, the trans am needed a fuel system overhaul since that gas was well over a decade old and was put in the tank before the ethanol fuel was sold here so it was ethanol free
    --- Post updated ---
The fuel tank in my trans am probably needs to be replaced since that gas is almost 20 years old now and it has 3/4 of a 20 gallon tank left and when the car is moved I cant it hear it sloshing around anymore

It might be something to do with the differences in our environments. The humidity here in Florida causes batteries to only last about 3 years and other crazy things to happen with cars. I have seen cars that haven't been used since the 90s start right up with fresh gas. The fuel collects water the water that is naturally in the air so over about 10 years, there is roughly a 25% water 75% gasoline mixture in the tank. It won't burn but it doesn't clog anything either.

I didnt know fuel does degrade so quick as our mopeds stand the same time my golf will stand and theyr gas doesnt degrade that fast. The worst i had was a 30 year old tank with 2 stroke fuel because it got solid over time and started to stink rather bad

me and my dad are working on registering the bronco. I really hope it doesn't need emissions testing because then I have to buy a cat and fabricate a whole new exhaust. We are co-registering it and restricting me to it since that makes the insurance payment only $200 over 6 months and is everything except collision which I am fine with because they would just total out pretty much any damage anyway and IMO as long as the cab and frame remain fairly undamaged I can repair everything myself. I had to look up the NADA value of it because CT taxes the average price ($5,000) I also looked up my trans am, that is $48,000

Finally got around to cleaning and waxing the 605, took me the whole afternoon but damn it was worth it! I still have to find a new grill (old owner broke it while changing one of the radiator's fan) and install the replacement fog light.

Made plans to drop a 302 v8 into my first car, a 1989 Ford Bronco II. Will do over the summer.

got classic vehicle plates in the bronco a few days ago and my dad drove it on the road with me since it has not seen a road in about 5 years, the biggest issue is the steering is all over the place and the steering wheel needs to be at the 2:30 position to drive straight so I'm going to buy ball joints and a steering stabilizer and after I get new tires I'll get it aligned. I also have to fix a trim piece in the interior that makes a really annoying buzzing sound, I don't mind the other rattles and squeaks but that one is very annoying

I didn't get to post this yesterday but we went out a second time when one of my uncles came over and one of the tires popped from dry rot. I have 2 other black rims left that have tires, I have to see if they can hold air so we can move the truck around.
The fastest we went was 35-40 MPH.

Also scored some wheels and tires for our old wheel horse tractor. They where on the side of the road in front of a house we passed while driving the bronco, they are very expensive now so we where very excited when we found them. My dad wants to get some agricultural tires on them so we can put the plow on the tractor and do some landscaping

I fixed the rattle in the dash caused by a trim piece that was loose. It required removing the radio/HVAC bezel, removing the radio, loosening the HVAC controls and a blood sacrifice :p, to reach the loose nut and tighten it by hand, then I put it all back together and there are slightly fewer rattles now.
I also put the last tire we had that is capable of holding any air on, it is so dry rotted that it started a slow leak once the truck was on the ground, after I inspect the front suspension I see new tires and an alignment in my future

Just bought a new project. Probably the rarest car I've owned. It's a Elite Industries Laser 917 kit car (Porsche replica).
Going to have to build an engine for it, (Vw running gear).

My neighbor dismounted the two flat aluminum wheels for me since he works at a tire place, I have to clean them up and repaint them in new silver wheel paint, also refinished the back rack on my dad's truck since it was rusting under the powdercoat (and it was the more expensive one made in the USA).

To be fair. Two things with that. Made in China versus made in USA doesn't really mean a lot, hell, completion of final assembly in the USA actually qualifies something as made in USA, hence how macbooks get marked as made in USA (they're shipped into the USA as almost complete machines, just have Chinese mademade motherb put into the Chinese made chassis there). Plus China can legit pull off some pretty awesome manufacture (also some shit but so can anyone).
Then even if a product is made in a nice fancy expensive factory that does really good work. Well nobody has a 100% success rate, always at least one duff unit produced

its just the point because it was advertised as a higher quality product and was significantly more expensive.

My bumper is well attached, it seems. Probably why it was sagging.
