This world is for those social types, human types, gamers are often kinda different types, that plays part too, but yeah, it is kinda difficult to make a career with gaming, very small percentage is successful in that. To get into something like congress, in current social societies it is required to be out among groups of humans doing old fashioned activities, manipulate emotions and get into circles, also it helps if one happened to born into correct family, world pretty much runs still like it did 200 years ago, despite all tech and entertainment there is today, basic power is still based on same concepts it was 200 years ago and your family has lot to do with what chances you will have to end up into something like congress or other important places, that is kinda kept such way on purpose. No need to like how things are, but have to live with how things are, it will not change in 100 years probably.
This was the last image to be received by NASA from the Opportunity rover before it died in a global dust storm on Mars. The black part at the bottom is missing data that was never received, and the top is nothing but thick dust. The storm settled, but the rover's panels were thickly covered.
I enjoy walking around the electronics section of my local Walmart, just to see what they have. They have a section for gaming capable desktops and laptops. Kind of unsurprisingly, only one of the gaming computers was functioning properly. On one desktop, the demo program would freeze when you would move the mouse, soft-locking it. The other desktop was frozen at a solid white screen, and the cooling fans were making strange noises. On one of the laptops, the demo program crashed with some sort of DirectX or .NET framework error, the next laptop was just hard frozen, the next one was actually working, and the last laptop wouldn't even boot into Windows due to a corruption of a boot file (bootres.dll specifically, I checked the logs). I didn't expect much from a Walmart PC, but wow.
Its not the PCs that are fucked, its usually that theyre on display and you get customers that try fucking them XD
Alcohol is an art form. There are so many beautiful things you can do with it, and there are so many mediums to work within.
