February BeamNG Racing Competition

Good morning, afternoon, whatever it may be for you,

Well, shortly summarized; I was playing around in beam when I came up with this idea. Let's just race competitively with the forum, that'd be nice

So, here I am, typing this, with little sleep and three cups of coffee.

Instructions:
The competition will be held on Hirochi Raceway, on the "Short Race Circuit".

From the homescreen, press the big "PLAY" button, then press "Time Trials", select "Hirochi Raceway", set the layout to be "Short Race Circuit", select your vehicle, set laps to 2, rolling start off.

!!IMPORTANT!! Two laps, no rolling start.

How do I show my time?
Make a screenshot at the end where your time is shown, upload it here.
Please also upload the config you used, if it's a config from a mod leave a link to the mod.

Rules
No extremely modded vehicles, such as extremely grippy tires.
No screen of your time = no valid entry
No automation vehicles.
Vehicles must be from the base game. You can use mods such as the UCP, but none like the FR17.
You may re-enter if you want (with a better time)

Could I use brukell firehawk?

 

Seems fun, although I can see an issue with massive discrepancies in times due to different vehicles. Maybe sort times by performance classes? But anyway, here's my time with my Group N(ish) Legran from my own racing championship, done with a G29 wheel.

 

It looks fun. However, there could be some improvements to the rules (eg. gearbox mode, perfomance classes). Nonetheless it's a great idea for a little competition.

Using a keyboard probably isn't ideal, but here's my attempt in a stock TurboBurger Pessima.

I think that's a pretty good delivery time. No guarantees you food is still in one piece though... (*´ω｀)o

 

Might as well go for 1st overall if there's no classes. Pessima Hillclimb with G29 wheel.

 

Ok 1:15.017 with the old Pessima Track (Base Config)

 

Everyday: Cheap base model;
Sport: High performance road-legal car;
Race: High performance road-illegal car.

I played with keyboard driving BeamNG-Official vehicles.

i use a xbone controller and feel like I lose a bunch of time on the slower sections. breaking past the minute mark seems doable though, but dont quote me on that.

Here is my time


Car : I used street tuned Sunburst at first, but switched to Hirochi SBR4 Typhoon X (DCT) (From GPACK)

Used keyboard for this, I'd say it's a pretty good time.

 

when you mouse over a time on the local leaderboard, that bit of the ui changes to display what car was used for that particular time. and for the time thingy not fitting on the screen, my ui is stretched out because i run it at a lower resolution. higher resolutions dont run nicely for me.

this time i was using the dct sbr4 hillclimb

 

Also, is this going to be a monthly thing, with a new "event" for each month, or is this just a one-off thing?

New time of 1:10.022 in the SBR Hillclimb-Asphalt (DCT) (I'm also using an Xbox One controller for all of my submissions)
