    Hi all,

    I decided to try my hand at modding, this is early WIP as i need to;
    Red(not started), Orange(in progress), Green(done)

Edit dae to make it resemble a flatbed.
    Learn how to remove jbeam.
Learn how to make the shapes i have made in 3ds come though on the dae.
Learn how to properly centre the dae to the jbeam.
    Learn texturing
    Learn how to add jbeam

    Any help is much appreciated.

    vvvvvv(progress so far)vvvvvvvvvv

While I'm glad to see more modders starting projects in this forum, I think you should have accomplished more before posting here. By the looks of it, the only thing you've done is move the model out of place.

So you just need to center the model (there are some threads that will show you how to do it), and then delete the jbeam of the back and that's it.

I like it, I don't know why gabester didn't include this.

i thought about that, but i do really need help to learn how to fix the centering of the dae/jbeam, if any mod wants to move this somewhere else, i'm fine with that.:D

I'm glad you've started this, my model was just an unpractical design. Hope you finish it!

prob a stupid question but, do you know how to make it a separate vehicle? If you need help, I can do it/ explain it.

Looking very promising, I made one some time ago but never got round to releasing it.

Also, for those who are interested, there is a sliding door modeled in the box van model, most probably a future update for the van will include this as an option.

Not to be a douchebag, but zipping a folder up and then hitting manage attachments is so hard...

Nope. Place the mod in a zip, above the text field (and below) when using the full page editor for posting there is a manage attachments button. The attachment size limit is plenty large enough for vehicle mods and is used by most modders.

You can host it elsewhere if you wish though and just link it here.
