Its not a DelSol, I actually completely forgot they existed. There might have been some subconscious influence from it. But the design process was literally putting some wheels in blender in roughly the same positions as an mx5, and then creating a model based upon that.

So the primary influence is an Mx5. In terms of styling, the R60 was an influence, with the lotus seven like cars inspiring some of the body lines. The Saturn Sky also factored into the mix slightly too.

In general, I'm trying to develop a unique brand style, with each car design being an evolution upon the last as my skills improve, and as my design sensibilities evolve.

That said, I don't think any of the designs that I have made look anywhere near as professional as real cars. They are all a bit odd, and that comes down to my inexperience and the amount of time I have to spend on developing this particular skill set. This isn't my day job, programming is. So it's hard to not feel guilty when working on this sort of stuff, since it could be spent working on my own game, which really is a far higher priority, because as it stands, I have no income and am living out of my parents generosity.

Regardless, the side profile is unlike a DelSol. You can see some old renderings on my website below. However, some things have been completely redone, such as the dashboard. But I am on my phone and about to go to bed, so can't give anything more than that atm.

Thanks! and no it isn't even textured yet, but here's the progress so far.

A complete re-texture is in order since I did a crap ton of edits (and so I could learn how to do it)
