Can't record with nviiddia

I can't seem to record video with nvidia software.

I upgraded to GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5X Zotac and 1TB SSD. I reinstalled win ult x64. I updated win10 and installed all latest drive.

I install BeamNG for a test and I can't record the benchmark for a friend to watch.

I hit alt+z for menu and it won't record nor replay thing.

I even tried the recording hot key (Alt+F9,iirc) without success.

My CPU is i3-2100T and 8GB RAM, Seasonic 650 watt 80-plus Gold PSU.

I've rebooted several times and double checked all drivers at least twice.

Anyone else with this issue? What recording software do you use.

Hopefully, it's just an oversight on my part.

 

I have never used Nvidia software, I'm using OBS https://obsproject.com/ and have not had such issues.

Does windows 10 need some gaming tools installed, it has own video recorder I guess? (I don't use even win 10)

 

I've had the same issue,usually a restart fixes it for me.

 

I actually got same problem
All I did was reinstall nvidia GeForce and it now work perfectly
I had same problem with fs17,FBR and automation

 

More like "very often have problem"

 

Why I don't have such problems, I feel left out once again

Perhaps because I'm still in Windows 8.1 and have not installed Geforce experience?

 

Shadowplay likes to randomly stop working.
You can restart the Nvidia Display Container in Services, but whether or not that works (about 50% of the time) is a crapshoot. Make sure Nvidia isn't going haywire in Task Manager too, because sometimes Geforce Experience will have like 15 instances running for no reason.
I hate the software but when it works, it works really well. My laptop (Asus ROG... bunch of numbers...) has a F20 key just for recording with shadowplay,
