If it is the firmware version, theb it is 2.3.6. I personally am the only member of my family that knows anything about saving battery power. My mom's screen seems to be made of white phosphorus, my dad's isn't as bad, but the brightness is still up a lot. My sister thinks that the fact that I had previously disassembled the third hand-me-down, iOS7 iPhone 4, not 4S, but 4, is the reason why the phone is slow XD. (She is self-entitled and an asshole anyways, and if I need to, I can elaborate over PM) I know what to turn off and stuff, and I always kill the tasks, if I need to. But with the whole firmware thing, if that isn't the thing I am looking for, then IDK what to look for. I do like Android, but I am hating this phone.
It seems like I have plugged it in and it hasn't vibrated before. I don't remember what I had on though.
i assume your on android, the google voice thingy sounds are counted as Media volume, so you'd have to mute that, not ringer (also, y u cheat u cheater) - - - Updated - - - vibrating when plugging in? wth? i've never heard of any android phone doing that
ewwwww (i can't stand them myself, they're so slow on updating stuff, like screen size for example (i would die if i had to use a 4 inch screen, it's too small))
I like them. Not sure why I just do. Kinda I'm still not too sure what I'll get when my contract expires this christmas. I kinda like those galaxy x phones.

I just need a phone that doesn't suck the battery while it is in my pocket, and isn't a 73 foot screen. I do think maybe I would be into those galaxy phones.
Meh. I've never really been a fan of the htc phones. THe thing that keeps me from looking more into android phones is they don't really age gracefully. They work well for a few years then they are just pieces of crap. The battery starts to fail, crashes a lot, screen starts to die. Iphones don't really do that. At least not nearly as bad.
never had that happen, and i've had many android phones (they actually all still work fine, have had some for 5+ years even, still working like new) you just got to be careful with them, besides, if you get an android, if you do have battery problems, at least you can replace them (or at least if you get a samsung, most other brands don't seem to make battery's replaceable anymore, apple having never made them replaceable (which is so so stupid))
