------------------------------------------------ Features ------------------------------------------------

    Hey !
Bored of all these ReShades that add a way too much effects and make the game too dark or too bright ? I made a ReShade that use almost no effect for less lags and glitches. There is (almost) no UI glitches !
This ReShade use only 6 effects for the Full version and only 5 for the Light version.

The Full version cost a lot of performances ! I recommend you to use it only if you have at least GTX 1060 or 1070

Work with version 0.13.0.5 (and should work with all other versions)

-------------------------------------------- How to customize --------------------------------------------

    How to customize:
To customize install the mod, launch the game and load a map.
Then press Shift+F2 and a menu will appear, follow the small tutorial that explain you how it work, once you did the tutorial go to the settings and change from Performance Mode to Configuration Mode then you can restart your game and edit each feature like you want.

Don't forget to put the Performance Mode back when you finished to edit your ReShade !

------------------------------------------------- Installation -------------------------------------------------

Do not put directly the zip you have downloaded in the mod folder ! Follow these instruction:

    Better Graphics Mod installation :

1 - go to your BeamNG path if you have the Steam version it should be something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive"

    2 -
If you have a 64 bits computer drag & drop Light.ini and Full.ini in the Bin64 folder
If you have a 32 bits computer drag & drop Light.ini and Full.ini in the Bin32 folder
If you don't know which version you have drag & drop the files in both folders
It should looks like this :
    ReShade installation :

    1 - Go to ReShade.me (https://reshade.me/) and download ReShade.

    2 - Start ReShade_Setup_?.?.?.exe

3 - Click on select game and go to your BeamNG path if you have the Steam version it should be something like "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive"

If you have a 32 bits computer go to Bin32 and select BeamNG.drive.x86.exe
If you have a 64 bits computer go to Bin64 and select BeamNG.drive.x64.exe

If you don't know which version you have, install the 64 bits first and then the 32 bits if the 64 doesn't work.

5 - Click on Direct3D 10+ and small window will open press "YES"

6 - After the installation a new window will open asking to select which effect you want to install, don't touch anything just press "OK"

7 - Click on Edit ReShade settings and check Performance Mode

8 - Click on the 3 points next to Presets and select the preset you want to use (Light or Full)

9 - Next to Presets a new box appear, click on it and select your preset (Light.ini or Full.ini)

10 - Press OK, close the window and enjoy ! :)
--------------------------------------------- Troubleshooting --------------------------------------------

It's normal it's because ReShade can't make the difference between the interface and the game, so the effect are applied to the interface too.

Open the game and press SHIFT + F2 [EDIT: On the new version it's HOME key]
A menu will open click at the top on the ReShade preset and select the one you want to use
--------------------------------------------------- Updates --------------------------------------------------
I slighty increase the brightness, it look better and it make the UI less dark
--------------------------------------------------- Credits ---------------------------------------------------

    Master Effect: Gilcher Pascal
    ReShade: Crosire

ok I just verified the game files, and it completely breaks the reshade.
and what makes it worse is that, from what i have tried, you cant redownload it+ reinstall it.
It only shows the installation window and just disappears. You cant edit it from outside the game.
I thought this was strange, so i went into the game and started to edit it there using SHIFT+F2.
There were no effects options. I tried to find in the 'home' tab where the full.ini and light.ini were, and i found them but they wouldn't work.
I am now trying a clean re-install of the whole game, and then re-installing the reshade.

    Any Ideas?

how does this only have, lik, 3 comments? I am really impressed by this reshade...and the other mods you have linked at the bottom, really well done stuff buddy. I am gonna give this a try when I get home. I have a 1050Ti, i play with max graphics and get a solid 50-60fps on most maps, would this be to much for my rig? Im considering getting a 1060Ti soon, I found a 6 gig OC version (in white so it matches my build) for like 275, really thinking im gonna go for it in a few days lol

You realize there is no such thing as a 1060ti. There is only 3 and 6 gig versions of the plain jane 1060.

Uninstalling and reinstalling this is the most annoying crap that is ever to live.
After it installs the new window never shows up.
    Its SOO annoying
Im just not in the mood

I really want to try this but after already failing at getting another re-shade to work properly (followed those insttruction exactly, nothing happens when pressing the corresponding key to activate it) im not sure why it seems so hard to get these reshades to work. I really want to change the look of the game, but ehh if its this annoying I might just skip it.

I noticed that upon starting BNG, when the splash screen is all black, I can see some yellow error message up on the top left of the screen, something about "preprocessing failed, reverting back to default" something or other (im not at home at the moment) but that might have nothing to do with this particular mod, but the other one from Ilya Higuti or whatever their name is...I have never used discord, am I missing something there lol

u think that if I already have some sort of reshade going on (that isnt working) that I can just install this like normally or would I have to revert back to all Vanilla files? The one I did required me to replace things in the games directory.

ReShade should not replace files, honestly I don't know, try without reverting and if it doesn't work delete both bin** folders and then check files with steam so it download them again
