Tdev I know this is off topic but now that you are almost done with Italy, could we get a better estimate for when the update will come out. like will it be on Christmas week or earlier or later?

 

everything the beam team do is for a reason and that reason sometimes is to make the community speculate when the update will be I believe around christmas time

Nice. The profiler looks really handy! I wonder if down the road modders could make use of that ( perhaps a simplified version anyway ).

Second half of December combined with the major updates almost only being on Friday’s doesn’t leave many possible dates. With the exception of the July update (collaboration with another dev team) and October update (mini update to fill space since Italy got delayed) we never really get estimated release dates. Even with Italy it was just an estimation. Really no reason for them to give anything more specific.

 

Finally, the World Edit won't look like it was taken from Windows XP!

 

You won't get better estimate than that, I'm quite sure of it.

 

The dev team does not release exact dates for updates. This allows them a certain amount of flexibility if unexpected problems arise during development. Even vague windows during which the update is planned for release (like the one we currently have for the second half of December) are highly unusual.

As the dev team likes to say:

When it's Ready.

 

I have heard that some people have managed to get a date trough online dating pages. Thinking you might have higher chances there than here to get a date, sorry
