Maps are black screened, the UI is fine.

    I have no idea what happened, but my BeamNG.Drive is simply on a black screen when on a map. It feels like a filter, because the UI isn't effected and sometimes when I look up at the sky, the black screen flickers on and off.

    I have cleared cache, run in safe mode, and verified integrity, nothing is helping out. I don't think it's a glitch, but screenshots appear with no UI for some reason.

    Really just confused.

    If you select lowest graphics quality without any checkboxes checked, is there any change?

    Cleared cache and turned on safe mode, loaded up multiplayer, and black screen. Turned the graphics to normal and unchecked the boxes, black screen. Turned off Vsync and shadows, black screen. By the way, I can still pause and physics still work fine it seems.

    I did just remember, I was screwing around with PostFX ingame I believe the last session I had before this happened. I don't know if I did something to break the graphics there.

    Also, changing graphics is amazingly quick. Takes like, 5 seconds where it usually takes a minute to finish.

    (Also made another thread about wtf PostFX even is, so that's why I was so curious)

    If you believe it's broken postFX, you can go into beamng.drive>settings and delete default.postfxpreset.cs.

    Well it kinda is like effects/filters/adjustments in Photoshop, after image is rendered, postFX (that is post effects in short) is applied, like bloom or hdr or saturation changes etc. That is done for each frame, so can be 60 times a second.

    It is post because it is after image is rendered. Nothing more mysterious really.
