I swear to god, I feel like my Steam is slowly turning into a black hole and imploding on itself... I exclusioned both Steamapps/BeamNG.Drive and Documents/BeamNG.Drive, but now it just doesn't feel like downloading it. Also, didn't have any luck with what Prius said... I just want to get this fixed, so where is the user folder? Never heard of there being one.
This has been occurring since 0.13. This is a vanilla cars, and all modifications are disabled. This occurs with other cars as well.
Thanks, indeed those seems to have slipped out of the update :\ Not at the moment AFAIK Nocebo? Check your settings, they may got reset Check your mods, a broken mod may be having an error-fest In addition to what said above, if the solutions suggest do not help, I advice to contact the Steam support in regards: https://help.steampowered.com/ The app is working fine here: Creator Console has been hidden for now, as it's an experimental thing that hasn't been working for a while. What I'm seeing exactly?
"Misc Fixed lag when updating mods using in-game repository" The game is still freezing at 98 and then 100%... However the update has dramatically improved the issue. The freezes only last 10-15 seconds rather than a minute as occurred previously, so whatever you did made a massive improvement, so thank you ... Although it still could be fixed further (My PC specs are on my profile if it makes a difference)
Game starts when online features disabled. I have clean reinstalled, deleted all mods, deleted all my custom builds, ran in safe modem, and still cant spawn any car
@Nadeox1 The cars tires are either getting locked up, or stuck. It doesn't allow me to move the car properly. This occurs pretty much everywhere on the map, with almost all car configurations.
I don't know if this is a bug or something that devs added voluntairly, but in the "Screenshots" folder in Code: My Documents/BeamNG.drive/screenshots the photos are not stored with a progressive number as it was before, but in other folders. I was used to the "old" method.
Upon launching i am getting an error message that says " BeamNG.drive 0.14.0.2 0xC0000409 STATUS_STACK_BUFFER_OVERRUN" what do i do?
BeamNG can look quite good if you tune PostFX settings. I also love the rusty skin for the D-Series! (Sorry for the lag, laptop wasn't connected to the power outlet)
just tried again, still doesn't work. Correct me if i'm wrong but in the streams the forcedInductionInfo stream should have a current RPM value under the RPM JSON object correct? if so mine does not, same with the other values that i think it looks for.
@devs Does BeamNG change the power options in Windows? I use the "Balanced" option and today (after I played the game) I had the CPU stuck at 4.1 Ghz (the max turbo frequency my cpu reaches), I checked the power saving thing and it was on "High Performance", without me touching it. Why does BeamNG do this? I mean, with the Balanced option the CPU, under load reaches the max frequency, and then when the load has ended, it slows down to cool and use less power. Can't BeamNG use the balanced instead of the high performance?
I'm pretty sure that's because the mod is being mounted to the game. Depending how big the mod is, it can take more or less time. Yes, it will for sure be in the next hotfix/update. Not a bug. They get categorized per month (a folder each month) Please see first post, the red text about the game crashing. Don't know what suggest, the app is working fine on my end still. Can you please make triple sure this is not being caused by modified/bad files or some weird mod? It does, in particular helpful for laptops. You can disable that from the game's options.
