Jup, I was thinking about making a few things for a while:
bubble car, bus and played with the idea of making a small truck. Decided to make a bus :p
We will work on some stuff together and help eachother with things. One doesn't have to re-invent the wheel :).

Great progress, and I love the new name.

If you want some ads made for the buses, hit me up! I might have a shot at making some.

Best of luck on the bus! I've always wanted to drive a double-decker in Beamng.
I live in the US. I hardly ever see double deckers, but in large cities, I do see a few here and yonder.

I'm sticking to what I promised - parts will be able to break off the bus individually
For now though, the walls are one-piece.

The back is coming together, with the bumper in, and the rear panels being able to break off.

The front will be like this too.

This is accurate - to that generation of bus. You've got to remember that this bus was made in the late 90s, and so its structure is far stiffer than this one. It can still bend and crumple, but not be shredded as easily as that.

Also, I've started doing the inside.

It made sense to use the Wentward's seats, since they're the right size and shape. Model detail/polycount in here won't be too high, but of course, it will still have considerable detail as usual with my models :p

I'm still impressed at how quickly you work, even after following the progress of the Blackfoot from the beginning. Keep it up!

The windows have two different variations. Some have rubbers, and some are flush-fitting. I discussed this on my Discord. :p
Some may also have seen my post in Community Screens - Yes, that tiny thing does have a JBeam.

As some may have seen on Community Screenshots, the bus has had some work done to it during this half term I've had free. I'm going back to school on Monday, but have decided to make some changes.

I had a feeling for a while that the engine bay was too small - and that the rear seats intruded too far - and I was right. Not to mention the fact that I'd had real trouble finding reference on Volvo's B7TL chassis itself - since all the reference images for the President were all in different lengths (the bus was able to be bought in various lengths;).

But then I found - and I wish I'd known this from the start - that the much newer Volvo B9TL chassis was based on the B7TL - and has far, far more documentation.
The B9TL started off as a tri-axle version of the B7TL, but replaced it in 2006 after meeting Euro 4 and 5 standards, and being converted back to dual axle form to replace the old chassis.

I was originally basing my judgement off of reference pictures from Plaxton's Wigan plant , but it only showed the coachbuilding of the bus' body, and very little of the frame - hence why I focused on the body's frame rather than the actual chassis. In fact, the old chassis mesh was basically a shorter Wentward one.

However, I have decided to re-model the body and chassis to their correct dimensions using offical Volvo B9TL specsheet images. Not only will this allow me to make a tri-axle version of the bus (which will come in handy very soon), but will also allow me to use different bodies on this frame.

This means that alongside the Plaxton President, the Alexander-Dennis ALX400, Wright Eclipse Gemini I, East Lancs Vyking and Mylennium Vyking bodies have the potential be created as well.

Advertisement UVs are also available on my server, if you would like to make some adverts for the side of the bus :D

The advert UVs use the same system as skins/liveries. People can make whatever they like.
But I will not make official packs with anything to do with Automation 'mods' in them. My mod, my choice.
