I now can edit the lifted and police ones from GTA:SA so here is my plan use them to replace missing parts add off road parts add police parts combine the more realistic damaged parts to make a realistic project/beater --- Post updated --- a detailed engine bay, just the off road version has so much stuff, I haven't even started on the police one, for now I am just going to move the damaged parts into their own
If you know how to import models from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas mods, then do you know how to extract the textures that came with the corresponding models? You didn't mention anything regarding the textures, so please clarify this.
To extract textures from .txd file formats, you need to use a program specifically made to do that. One such program is TXD Workshop; it allows you to preview the textures within a .txd file, and then you can export them to .png, .bmp, or .tga image formats.
I'll download it --- Post updated --- I want to make 87-91 bronco once 80-86 is done but it will be a long time --- Post updated --- that didn't work I am using a program called magic.txd
after a lot of googling I think I found the authors of the model they are called Mad EA and Stratumx, also found another version with the styled steel wheels, running boards and a spare tire inside --- Post updated --- I re-wrote the first post again.
I forgot to tell you that TXD Workshop (or other similar programs) may not extract or preview textures from all .txd files. This might occur for two reasons: The program doesn't support the .txd file, while another similar program supports it The .txd file (as well as the .dff file) is locked by the author of the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas mod For the former, you can try to use a different program to extract/view the textures from the .txd file (for example, Magic.TXD as you have mentioned). But if it's the latter, then you are out of luck; instead, use a different GTA mod that isn't locked by the author.
I fixed a few more parts, renamed everything in the part selector properly and I have started prepping the new models mostly the f150 I found by the same author because I am only keeping a few things from that I have to manually merge and delete a lot. I have so far merged the cab properly, deleted unnecessary parts(LOD, junk in bed) and went through the damage parts to put aside later, I have to finish deleting most of the frame and rear suspension, when I have some more time. here is a better shot at the cab, I have to separate and modify the bed when I am done with the cab. I also need to separate the engine bay crap from the engine and attach it to the body.
finished cab and bed tomorrow I will work on getting the cab in place and after this is done I will finish the necessary jbeam work before I can try adding stuff
Do you know what mod has those? I could work on compatible hubs or something after the scalebeam is removed
