As the title says, I'm trying to get the Tseries wheels to work with the Dseries, More specifically I want to use the BTS mod rims with the offroad Tser tires and Portal axles from Offroad parts by Itsyourboi. I've got the Tseries rims to appear in the part selector but they are invisible and have no nodes or anything else. It's just a personal mod so it doesn't need to be perfect. Things like clipping is a nonissue.
I was more of asking for help for trying to get it to actually be a thing ingame But there ya go. Basically as far as Jbeam editing I've Duplicated and changed the slottype of the Semi File, Renamed so nothing overwrites and placed it in the mods/vehicles Doc folder. I've swapped stuff like this before and it worked then this didn't and I'm not sure where to start to get it fixed. As you can see, The wheel and tire are both selected but they aren't actually loading anything.
Semi wheels are specified differently than other vehicles, it includes seperate axis nodes and PressureWheel properties, offsets etc. I believe it has differend axis node names. Can't look up on phone atm. The slot being active but wheels not appearing looks like nodes can't be found.
Thanks Sir, Now I have a trail to follow. I'm most likely in over my head, I'm not such a good Jbeam editor lol The only difference I could find is the Hubs are named RhL on T and RwL on D. I played with changing them around and it didn't do anything. Not sure how to continue at this point, I've basically converted Everything from the Semi data to Dseries data and it hasn't worked.
Yeah I've got no clue what to do at this point. I redid the Jbeam conversion and came up with the same issue. Part is in selector but No nodes are loaded. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?
the closest thing might be that t series with a d15 body over it. That or this https://www.beamng.com/resources/cargo-box-for-gavril-d-series.3004/
import them from the pickup but i had a error that the wheels wasnt placed in the right area --- Post updated --- you mean tserieswheels on a pickup just convert them to 8 lug wheels
Yes I want the Tseries wheels and tires on the Dseries/Pickup. I've tried converting them to 8lug but The issue is that they don't load the nodes from the semi wheels and tires. The part is in the selector but the part doesn't exist ingame.
I have looked at a few different peoples lug conversions but none included the Semi/TSeries wheels, I'll check again. -- As I assumed from looking at them before, The 3 I just downloaded all Do not include the Semi hub.
I can't get that mod to work, Or atleast it appears it isn't working. No new hubs in Dseries, And my UI has the stupid slow bug so Swapping cars is alot of work lol -- After looking at jbeam I understand how the mod works. Should be able to get it to work now, I'll report later on. --- Post updated --- Used the Carlover416's lug conversion to put the Semi hub on and Instead of working how his mod did, It puts the Hub into the wheel slot. Only thing I changed in th CL416's jbeam is the Slot of the hub itself, Changed from Wheel_R/F_4 to Semi_wheel_R/F and renamed the hub to keep orderly. That should have worked, I don't understand what I'm doing incorrectly.
