I've got a number of cars I made a looooong time ago I've been updating. A Geo Metro is among them and will probably make it's way to beamNG in a few months. I just have to figure out how Jbeams work and all the other associated stuff.
Lol, currently it's only a Blender mesh. It doesn't even have a interior or undercarriage. It's gonna be some time before it's even in game. It's a 3dr hatch and i think it was a 95 i did.
how about a buggati or if you want a challenge, a Devel 16 --- Post updated --- Just thought of some better ones: Aventador, Mercedes IAA, Lamborghini EGOISTA, BMW Vision Next 100, FFZERO1, Rolls-Royce 103EX, the Bugatti Chiron, Lykan Hypersport, and Fenyr Supersport.
There has been lot of interesting suggestions, I'm going to suggest something whole lot different though. Prototype land speed record vehicle build around Trident Op: https://www.fairbanksmorse.com/trident-op That is 12 cylinder opposite piston engine (not a boxer), only 17 liters, weight is over 43 000kg though and 3,293 kWe which is probably something close to 5000hp at crank (I have no idea really, but usually it is 90% mechanical power or less converted to electricity). They advertise 50% efficiency and 2.7l oil consumption per hour But just look at it: One might need to use T-series frame as a base, or H-series cabster frame, obviously some aerodynamic works are required for speed record machine, but there is nothing like that in BeamNG so far and if someone would like to make a cool project, that would certainly be one to show off creativity.
That's 4,900hp and over 25,000lbs-ft of torque. And it's opposed-piston. Very cool. Although i don't think it would be well suited for a land speed record car. Would probably move a large boat quite well though. XD One of those pistons alone would move a Semi rather well.
While I've never personally been a fan of the PT Cruiser, I like that this forum seems to be full of people that like quirky wierd typically un-loved cars.
Lol, It's still sitting on my hard drive at home, I haven't done much with it, I updated it's door-handles to 3D from the ancient NFS3 2D ones I originally did. I'm probably gonna be at work all day, I'll see if I can get a few WIP pics up and a thread started maybe on Saturday.
Technically, It's not from anything. I made a bunch of cars originally for NFS3 and later Racer the free car sim when that was a thing. I recently dug them out from storage and updated them in Blender. the Geo I think i did for Racer actually but I don't think I ever released it. Didn't think there would be much interest.
I would love to see a small early 2000's sedan maybe like a 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier or a 2000 Ford Focus
I want a 1968-69 Chevrolet Chevelle. My favorite car but nobody will make one. I am to inexperienced to do it myself as well. I was thinking that the Barstow looks a lot like those years of Chevelle. Maybe a good place to start.
