Possibly, there are awful lot of those cars, so it is possible, maybe And if not, then they should, so they would not miss some quality tunes
My favorite metalcore bands are the local Ice Nine Kills, and Michigan-based story-centered Famous Last Words.
Angry music makes you calms, there is even science to back this up: https://www.theguardian.com/music/2...reme-music-makes-you-calmer-not-angrier-study
That is right! I hope that general public will accept that too and start getting their aggressions cured by good shot of death metal instead of shot something else which seems to be too common :-/
Plus, there is calmer metal music as well (even from INK themselves, with the new single I mentioned a few weeks ago), so it's not always too heavy.
Yeah, but in study they did say how it is the extreme music that helps, music has to be heavy, extreme, aggressive to work.
It can also be good to use when exercising, really enduces energy into you. I usually play metal music when exercising.
I usually use a exercise bike (the ones in gyms), so it really suits me there. Also, I do like certain modern rock bands, like As It Is (got introduced to them by their new album, and is pretty good so far) and Eat Your Heart Out (first song I played from them (Conscience) is really good and fun to listen to).
Starting to get into heavy metal, any suggestions? I've got a nice bit of Metallica, Iron Maiden and Motley Crue (which I listened to already). I have 1 or 2 Slayer, Dio and Motorhead songs. I like "older" music if that makes sense (pre-2005).
I'd suggest the 90s Korn albums (self-titled to Issues), Slipknot's first 2 albums, older Cannibal Corpse, and maybe August Burns Red's first album.
Those you listed are bit of soft, but classics for sure. KISS, W.A.S.P are there too, don't forget ZZ Top either, that is one of the easy to listen metal bands. Also give this a go, they say it is mixed so that it sounds good with any speakers on purpose. I would like to give few more extreme ones, but it probably is not what you want based on your reference bands, however one good one for venting is Thousand eyes from japan, it is newer and way more extreme than you seek, but kinda easy to listen for such extreme music.
Hm. I wouldn't call ZZ-top, KISS and CCR as hard rock, I listen to those and many more already but call it "Classic rock" Because KISS compared to say, Slayer there is a large differnce. Most of my classic rock is from the 50's all the way upto the 90's Here is a list of most of the Bands I listen to that arent Country or Rap. Spoiler: Most of the bands that aren't country or rap that I listen to so you can get a better idea of what I am looking for. BILLY IDOL BOSTON THIN LIZZY BRYAN ADAMS CCR DION GUNS 'N ROSES QUEEN FOREIGNER JOURNEY MEAT LOAF POISON REO SPEEDWAGON SIMPLE MINDS STARSHIP THE CLASH THE ROLLING STONES TROOPER TWISTED SISTER AEROSMITH EAGLES GORDON LIGHTFOOT FOGHAT STEVE MILLER BAND AC/DC MEN AT WORK NEIL DIAMOND TEARS FOR FEARS BILLY SQUIER DEAD OR ALIVE KANSAS KENNY LOGGINS KISS QUIET RIOT RAM JAM MOTORHEAD ASIA DAVE EDMUNDS FRANK ZAPPA PINK FLOYD TRIUMPH AMERICA STYX CHUCK BERRY
With music it varies what makes person like from something. However I don't quite understand what you mean by your statement about KISS, maybe you intended to type "would" instead of "wouldn't" anyway KISS is heavy metal as well as hard rock: "Kiss have typically been classified under the genres of hard rock, shock rock[153] and heavy metal.[154][155][156][157][158][159]" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiss_(band) What you listed originally are pretty much lower end of metal or hard rock for my ear. Some things you probably don't like but these are variety of metal (always listen stuff you don't like, sometimes it opens new doors instead of being annoying): I skip japanese death metal and vampiric stuff for now... Based on your listing, I would guess this might be something you would like to give a go, even it might be bit more recent: I'm not sure about Pretty Reckless, it does have some good classic sounds, but you probably will hate it. Leo Moracchioli is always worth to mentioning of course, but it again is very different, even some pieces do have good classic sound, it is so different. --- Post updated --- I'm surprised Helloween is not in your list: new old --- Post updated --- For some all girl band is bad omen, but I dare you to try this: Lyrics are kinda boring and repetitive, but so is many big songs, like stairway to heaven, however sound really works on that one.
Dystopia form Megadeth is really good to my ear. If you like Helloween, then you might try Gamma ray too https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamma_Ray_(band) also worth to check other bands listed here (Unisonic - We Rise for example is very much Helloween like): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kai_Hansen There really is incredible connections between bands, few years ago I did found out lot of good songs and when I digged bit about them, there was always some connection to Helloween. I think there was 2-3 other bands too which had surprising connection like that, but sadly I have forgotten much of that. Amyway, what I find working quite well is check out band members from Wikipedia and https://www.metal-archives.com/ you can dig a lot of bands that hit the spot that you never have heard about that way. I have now been listening Waterland, it really hits the spot, amount of skill involved to put those songs together is quite impressive, but to really appreciate it I find that I need to really listen those songs, melody, then lyrics all that is playing so nicely together. It is not the most epic tunes, but there is something incredible in way those songs have been put together. Portuguese, I ended up listening that from band called Oratory, neither is found from Wikipedia, even at least for me those are much better than anything that comes from local radio these days. --- Post updated --- Wow, I just did listen beginning of Oratory Illusion Dimension album beginning and it has melody VERY close to Yuki Kajiura's In the land of twilight under the moon, especially after 0:55 mark.
Ice Nine Kills dropped off the rest of their songs recently. I'm currently listening to "Stabbing In The Dark", which is based off the cult classic "Halloween".
