Thanks! By far my favorite keyboard I've ever used. It's awesome. I almost got the K70, but decided to splurge for the K95.
Snagged two AOC 22" 1080p for a steal on Woot, check this baby now. The edges don't quite match up, since the center is a 23", but it's close enough that I actually started subconciously compensating for it in about an hour of play across the three. and a gallery of some pics I took while playing http://imgur.com/gallery/JKrR7
If I didn't post my newest desk setup, then I can describe it for now. I somehow now have the desk from downstairs with the overhead knocked off, so it is just a desk now, and my computer is on the other side. It looks similar to the one before, but with prettier furnishing/wood, a drawer at the bottom left, and is bigger than before. My PC is on the right. I somehow have the home printer to the left, and I have the old, old flat monitor (parent's monitor, until I told them they could hook the computer up to their small TV (about 1600x900, I think, so no advantage over the main one I have) to the right, and got it to work. (Using an HDMI to VGA because I don't have an HDMI compatible monitor) I have an OLD Belkin USB port hub, which is used for my wireless Xbox controller receiver (use it at school, so I don't like digging behind my computer every day), my Unifying receiver, and anything else that is only temporary. My Xbox goes to the old monitor (I will just say the 4:3, because it is, and the main is 16:9) when I want to use it for the 15 minutes that it can play before overheating (replaced thermal paste, still isn't cooling. If any of you can help with that, I would be grateful! It's the old fat 360 by the way.), and I can play downloaded games a bit longer (CD tray generates some heat, so it goes up in temps faster.). I am really starting to like my setup now! It is actually an enjoyable spot to be in now! I just need a better chair, and I am good to go.
Here, don't mind the picture on the monitor :3 Keyboard: CMSTORM by Coolermaster Mouse: M65 by Corsair Headset: X12 Turtlebeach (not that great) Monitor: Dell ST2320l-Digital Tower: Costum build Specs: Motherboard: GA-Z77-D3H CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40 GHz Quad Core GPU: HIS 7870 IceQ 2GB RAM: can't explain it's very wierd, 12gb DDR3 to different speed on 3 sticks... Powersuply: I don't even remember xD Storage basic 1 000 GB hardrive...
(imported from here) It USED to look like this a while back.. But the amp is blown, one of my screens is broken. I have a CRT as second monitor and computer speakers so my desk is absolutely bloated. And currently it's really messy. But there goes a nice picture anyways
Here's some pictures of my desk (or desks). For people wondering why I have 2 ps vita's, the white vita is a limited edition Hatsune Miku imported from japan.
Here's mine... Someone said something in an earlier post about too many speakers or some such? I dunno...I couldn't hear, lol despite the fact I use my tv as a monitor (32" 1080p 3dtv)...I think the crown jewel is still the stereo setup. A 20-something year old head unit...4 boxes, no subs, but with two 8's, two 6's, two 4's, two 3's, and four 1's......needless to say, I was playing BF3 one time, and decided to see what the thing could handle....turns out it was a test to see what I could handle....literally felt it in my chest everytime I fired a shot from the m95.....ended up having a headache by the end of the round. >.< and the wallpaper is my car of course. that is of course....if you don't count the working nintendo stuffed away on the side there as something to be marveled at. XD also, not pictured: a big white cabinet with ps3 and disc based games lined up....Lego Hobbit house (not yet built), Nightmare before christmas monopoly, a stuff Simon from Gurren Lagann, Trigun: The complete series, FMA: Brotherhood OVA Collection on Blu-ray......to the left of that, Saiga-12 shotgun and 20-round drum....to the left of that....mini dresser with 4 mini model motorcycles, and some cool looking bottles...my motorcycle helmet on the floor...gf's helmet on the rack.........kinda just a big mess of cool stuff really, lol
my setup (mostly the same, less books on my tower now) (ignore the bt mouse, that's from my old half-dead laptop (needs new odd, hdd, and keyboard) i now use it on my new laptop, an hp something or other)) (imported from here)
(This was changed about 18 hours after my last picture.) I got my Custom build running, sort of. I am having issues with the CD drive and BIOS settings. Because I needed 2 computers to compensate with the issues, I made some adjustments. 2 Keyboards, 2 mice, 2 computers. 1 screen, 1 microphone. The bottom goes to my Alienware, the top goes to my custom. I am lazy, not bothered switching out USB's, so that is how I fixed it. Just switch the HDMI. Simple.
So this is legit my first post on this forum and i'm not exactly new either. I've just been watching from afar for a short while.. so hi guys!! Here you have my desk. This is where i live for about 80% of my life, so far. I haven't cleaned for about 2 or so months. Those stools are for my feet to rest on and that stick to the bottom right makes the desk thicker so i can actually mount my G27 wheel on it. I tend to go to bed at around, 7am.. because i like to kill all my time on BeamNG and other games. that's why there's sheets of aluminum on the windows. I also have a minecraft pickaxe, Game Boy Advance SP, PS3, collection of games behind the chair in those drawers, chair, BENQ GW2750 monitor, samsung TV (can't remember which model), Logitech 5.1 sound system (can't remember which model), G11 keyboard, Razor Deathadder mouse, loads of empty drinks and snacks, posters, plush toys, steering wheel, model Skyline, smaller toy Skyline (JDM police version), page 4 of this thread and more. I've noticed by the looks of my room skylines are my favorite car but it's not. The Porsche 918 currently is. Off the top of my head my PC has... -650W Thermaltake PSU -4GB of RAM -A total of 2 HDD's adding upt to 1.5TB -GeForce GTX 550TI graphics card -Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 CPU -A motherboard, i just can't remember what one -Blue lights -Thermaltake case of some sort
Have you considered in investing in a bin? On a more serious note a black mouse mat would probably be a little more fitting and they are pretty cheap, although i have a steel series mouse mat one from your local pound store (more likely dollar shop to you) will probably be just as good. Since you are using paper you probably understand the surface doesn't make much difference. Or you could get a mouse that works on glass, but there isn't much point.
I do have a bin, it's already filled up. Eventually i will have to clear all of this into the bigger bin outside. Maybe tomorrow. I do have a mouse mat but its too small The paper does a good job at being a mouse mat. Only thing is it wears out and gets really thin then leaves me with tiny pieces of shredded paper and I've already been thought 7 or so sheets so yeah, i have been meaning to buy a real mouse mat.
God damn it, I saw an empty mcdonalds fries container thing (seriously, what would you call that?) and now I want mcdonalds at 9pm on a sunday :/
My desk (only the other half) after some serious cleaning . The screen is just an old Philips TV (@ 1280x768) and the keyboard is an old HP one that came with a HP Computer (You don't say ). The mouse is a Gigabyte M6900 and the mousepad is a Gigabyte GP-MP8000.
