It’s time for the F7 A Unit to get its official name, but I need help naming it so vote.

    I have a few suggestions for you on what trains you could make. You could try making electric trains like VL80 or CHS4, or probably more diesel engines (DM62U is my suggestion). You can add a shunter locomotive (for example TGM4A or TEM2). Have you considered making trainsets like ER9T or DR1A? Pics for reference :D

    I saw that there was a Union Pacific SD70 and instead of the flag, it just said "Union Pacific," do you have two Union Pacific skins for that locomotive?

    You should make a Train Crash compilation with your WIP Trains. Just a short, 5 minute little video showing off the destruction these trains can cause.

    I just Builded a Rerailer in skechup, should work fine:

    To use it you need to:
    1. Uncompress it in your C:\Users\[your_username]\Documents\BeamNG.drive
    (a new foldren whit a name that makes it be showed first is recomended)
    2. Fire up beam, open the map where you want to place it, free the camera whit [Alt+C] and press [f11] to open the wold editor
    3. Press [F1] to select the Object editor
    4. On the right is a menu, select "library" on the upper tab, select "Meshes" on the lower tab and smash the back pointing arrow under it a few times until the menu below stops going back. Then find the foldren where you saved the rerailer and open it.
    5.Open the rerailer.dae, a window will pop up, press ok.
    6. On the right will show you the properties of the object selected (now if you didn't click on another object, should be the rerailer). Now look for the place where it says "Collision" and where it says "collisionType" and "decalType" select "Visible Mesh"
    7.Place it were is needed.

    That should be it, and remember that it will start working the first time you close the world editor [F11]

    I can't wait to just make a really long freight train and recreate stuff like - emergency scenarios - cars on the tracks - work vehicles THIS WILL BE SO MUCH FUN! THANK YOU!

    For that reason i need to complete train engine in order it can pull at least 5 wagons without problems.

    Hey, out of curiosity, how are you making the wheels handle the weight of the train? And: How good are performing the wagons on turns at nominal speed? And last: Do you think that a working rail swich would be posible or the train its goint to be just to heavy?

    One last suggestion: A Coaster Commuter Train or a Seattle Wave Commuter Train.



    A commuter train would be absolutely awesome, especially if Bob includes a rail line in his upcoming city map.

    Agreed. Maybe we could have a P42 Amtrak with coaches or some modern passenger train.

    The maximum speed at the turn, for now, is 80rm/h but depends on train weight and turn radius. With the wheels BeamDrifter helped me. I'using just wheel hubs without tires. About rail switch i dont know.
