This is a Playstation 2 model that you can put it into your BeamNG maps do what you want with it, next i'm going to create more usefull stuff for BeamNG. Texturing is bad i know, its to dark.. you can make it better when you want
Hm, i thought about what i could put in my maps just for eye catching purposes, but a playstation? oO I dunno man, maybe if you can give it arms & legs and add a xbox360 with red glowing ring, and the playstation is actually forcing a sword throu the body of the xbox while the xbox is grabbing it with one hand and reaching to the sky with the other. ^^
i see we have a ps fanboy, xbox doesnt red ring of death often at all, i've had my xbox for 4 year's, not a SINGLE RROD, seriously fanboys are so freaking stupid sometimes
The PS2 destroyed the original xbox. No doubt in my mind. I've also had 4 xbox 360's rrod. My PS2 still works perfect after 10 years. My cousins original xbox broke after 2 years. OT: This is a really cool model. I don't really see why this is needed in beamng, but nonetheless it is pretty cool. I actually have this model of the PS2 and was just playing it like 30 minutes ago with my sister lol.
I've had mine since whenever they first offered the elite as a model, had E74 once and a right PITA resulting in a trading standard case against microsoft customer support, replacement console (which I had to buy because microsoft against a trading standards order did not replace, however the management in GAME in peterborough were very understanding of my situation and managed to forgo company policy by allowing me to trade in the bundle games and controllers from their cheapest xbox bundle) has had several red rings but in all but one case recovered, in the 1 it did not recover from I simply reapplied thermal paste and it hasnt had a red ring since. Beginning to get issues with the optical drive, but it really is showing its age now so I attribute that to natural wear and tear. Most people I know who have genuinely had their consoles killed by the red ring had the console in a cupboard or under piles of stuff etc, considering its an overheating issue.... I think I really lucked out bad on E74, but red ring front most of the time I have simply turned it off and left it to cool overnight and its been fine by morning.
Assuming much i see, assuming "ppl are so freaking stupid sometimes".^^ You see nothing as you are blinded by your own assumptions. Im no fan of anything and specialy no fanboy, even if you cant form a comparative from a superlative but ok. The word fan is short for fanatic, someone who is fanatic wont accept any criticism even if it is constructive, that behaviour is just plain retarded imo. No idea why you think you would see reasonable signs of my opinion towards consoles after reading a single post of me that did not even talk about consoles realy, but just called 2 console brands by name. Consoles suck hard, the question ps4 or xbox makes just a negligible difference there. I would not even take a console into my home if you would offer me money for it, thats how much fan of consoles i am.^^ Please assume less, i just had a random idea that would have given a funny picture. If i should assume now i would think you are liking the xbox more as you protect it. Well, you could not even do so if you wanted, its from microsoft. XD Edit: i had a playstaion 1 ages ago tho, but only until i got a 4/86 pentium desktop pc and learned to do more than pressing the power and start button, soon after the ps1 was forgotten. Same story as with the gameboy.
That PS2 looks great. However I'm not sure if a PS2 would really fit in with a lot of BeamNG maps if you know what I mean. Maybe for your next project (If you plan on doing another one) you could make a building, bridge, factory, house or something like that witch may fit in more with most maps. However as I said it looks great, You never know when a giant PS2 could come in handy on a BeamNG map. You've got some great modeling skill.
If he can jbeam it properly and make it as a separate vehicle like DrosySam has done with his Ball, Ragdoll, and Spintop, it would actually be pretty cool.
Yea, I mean, I like the model work he did, but if it isn't jbeamed, there isn't much use for it in this game. There isn't much use for it even if it is, LOL, but at least it'll be cool to watch it break.
If I, myself a PC gaming nobleman, want to run over consoles in-game, I would just mindblow. Only if real life....
Playstation is a BOSS. . . XBox is ok but in my opinion Playstation trumps it... back to the model...what if you just made a blank map with a huge ramp to travel to the top of the model ps2 (it would be huge) and jump off of it lol
"This person's opinion is different to mine HURR DURR CALL HIM A FANBOY DAMAGE CONTROL DAMAGE CONTROL" -logo "I'll put an apostrophe wherever the hell I want" ster, 2014 @OP: Do you have the internals modelled? If you jbeam it, you can get some pretty neat destruction.
We have a PS2 (The fat one) in our basement.. Got it for 10 bucks at a tag sale with Dance Dance Revolution and the dance pad. Kept it in my mom's old minivan for a while because it had a little DVD player on the ceiling. Red Faction in split screen on a 7 inch screen was kinda hard to see though.. I want to put it in my room and hook it up to my screen but I don't really want to spend the money for a VGA or HDMI adapter. (No TV in my room.)
My PS2 is in my living room. Just recently hooked it back up after ~3 years of gathering dust in my room. My sister and I have been playing the lego star wars games. She's already addicted (mission accomplished).
Well i stated an idea that visualized excactly that fight, and then additionaly used two different console brand names in the same sentence, big misstake as i saw afterwards. I didnt watch out for a moment i guess.
I would love to say that it would be cool to see a PlayStation get smooshed in BeamNG, but I am afraid logoster is gonna yell at me.
Really? In his highly controversial post he was defending his Xbox. Which post did he favor the playstation in?
