F On topic: It's been a while since I did an Automation screenshot dump. Here is a Dodge Shadow/Chevy Lumina ripoff. Gavril-Bruckell-Soliad (GBS) Official Statement - August 8, 1980 Today, we are pleased to announce the all-new U Platform. This is the small car America asked for, and it is our honor to offer it, starting exactly one year from today. Prototypes are currently in the late stages of testing - we want to iron out some mild handling issues before production begins. The GBS U-car will initially be available with the customer's choice of a 2.5-liter I4 (DH0) and a 3.1-liter V6 (NH1), coupled with either a 5-speed manual or 3-speed automatic transmission. Both engines are all-new for the 1989 model year, and more are planned. Owners of the I4 model can expect up to 20 combined MPG, while those who opt for the V6 will have at their command 130 horsepower and 160 lbs-ft torque, still with up to 17 combined MPG. Prices will start at $6999 - as usual, Gavril will market family-friendly variants for any budget, Bruckell will produce models for those of more discriminating taste, and Soliad will serve performance-minded buyers. (Note that these images are not of any specific variant; the vehicle shown here is a template for future models.)
