Hmm I can only wonder what that engine is from?? (obviously sarcasm. I think you need an engine sound, shoot @workclock1© a pm)
A sign, visible from the highway, advertising fast-food restaurants. ...and I made sure it can be seen at night, too. Trying to do that with more signs this time around. Hopefully I can do more things like that, this time around. Night-time on my maps left a lot to be desired, hopefully not this time. Unfortunately not much else lately, the giant Route 127 sale is going on, the entire road from the bottom to the top of Tennessee is one, giant, yard sale, and also, one giant traffic headache for a good solid week (and while most of it ends sometime after Sunday within town, there's lots of traffic snarls for another week afterwords while the individual sales die down). Absolutely mind blowing how much rusty old stuff is for sale, sheesh. I got to one place, I said "Wow, this reminds me of the timing I had to much to drink & ran into the shed with the riding mower..." (hence tipping it and spilling the contents)... I didn't really DO that but saying it garnered a few good laughs. That is all for now.
Are there gonna be more (new*) stores that are planned to be added to the map? *new in this context means stores not borrowed from your Roane County map.
Nice stolen engine model --- Post updated --- @BeamCarHomeTrade I told you in a PM Not to use my parts at all, even if you credited me. And you used my engine model, and probably my engine sounds. Delete it please, or remove the parts. I told you like 6 times not to take my parts at all.
The whole model is stolen as well, so I can't even consider it as a "good mod" because actual good mods are often built from the ground-up (and aren't mesh-slaps), and even heavily modified models (schumacher's AE86 for example) can also become good mods.
Here's my comment you asked for: You stole some 3D artist's work, didn't credit gabester for the music (did you even ask for a permission?), this looks to be a very quick and dirty attempt to get famous/hyped, and finally, I find it sickening you tried to use the same style as the official BeamNG.drive channel for something like this.
Ahem, wat? This is RR3 model and fully clean built k series jbeam,if you want to see all jazz,i will pm you the zip and you will see that this is not your mod!stop lying --- Post updated --- And the engine mesh model is from csr2,open up in blender see textures, poly count --- Post updated --- For those who saying that i stole engine model from @workclock1© Here is my engine bay: Workclock's new engine bay: Workclock's old engine bay yeah, for sure i stole the model from him --- Post updated --- Also challenger stream --- Post updated --- i also show the crashes and jbeam stuff
I have never heard of that name 'Ice Nine Kills', this NEW store name is a cop-off of a store name I saw in the Simpsons in a clip on Youtube. I laughed good at the store name, so I said 'I am so putting that in the map!'. So yes, to answer your other questions, yes, there will be new stores in the map, but there will also be many familiar store names, as I've made so many, I might as well cut some dev-time off and re-use them. Questioning my re-use of store names would be like questioning why GTA's always had Ammu-nation in them, or other similar names (I don't remember the rest of the names they used which appeared in multiple different iterations of the game). @CaptainZoll oh surely that will make it in, in some form or another, maybe less abandoned than that one in the picture in Roane County (though, that specific station in Roane County I sunk a good hour or slightly more into building, just that lot itself!). There will be quite a bit of blighted stuff in one section of the town, that will carry the Detroit/Cleaveland style through it quite a bit - very run down etc. Terrible roads and all! Not everything will be as if it was built yesterday. Thank-you for your interest in the map. @workclock1© I don't blame you for not wanting people to make off with your hard work, especially if something takes all the features of your mod you've worked long and hard on, and encapsulates it in a much bigger, more complex mod, overshadowing your efforts. It's not polite to say the least, and plagiarism in a nutshell. Sadly, while you can contact the moderators about it, the terms and conditions on the repository state that things stored on beamng.com here are free for the community to use in derivative works, and also for the developers to integrate into the future versions of the game in-part or in-whole. LOTS of developers do this - Even Bethesda! That's not to say it's a nice thing (for others) to take other's (or your) work and publish it as your/their own, as it's not very nice at all. So for folks out there wanting to use another modder's assets, especially hand-crafted models, or large amounts of map resources, please ask permission, and if it's okay to use it, give proper credit. It's not a popularity contest, this is supposed to be fun making mods and providing others with a good time. That's why I mod things. Also, I don't really have time to police who's used my assets and has / hasn't given credit or been given permission. So I tend to just list 'free to use assets but please do not re-upload the map elsewhere' on the resource page, to keep things clear. I take lots of pride when other's use my work; but on the flip side, if someone took my entire Roane County map mod, and contained it within a much greater 'complete USA' mod, then who'd come to appreciate the original 'Roane County' mod itself? Best to use (un)common sense and better judgement here, and when in doubt, ask, and try not to burn bridges with other modders, especially accomplished ones who do nice work, or they may not provide us with free goodies any more. That would be most unpleasant & just generally not cool. So yeah, this modding stuff is supposed to be the big pro-bono to PC gaming, not it's bane. Be civil folks, or the moderators will throw unfriendly folks in the angry rabid porcupine pit for an hour. --Cheers! P.S. You do nice work @workclock1© , thank-you for your contributions to the community.
The size of the challenger looks way too small than it's actual size. You should consider scaling it bigger.
