Previous game versions?

Is there any way to obtain previous game version apart from downloading illegal copy? I'm particularly interested in a version in which both Strato plane and Auriga Heron worked (I wouldn't mind if someone told me which version did that). I really miss those mods and I don't think they will get updated any time soon.

 

As far as I know there is no way to do this. You may want to consider requesting those mods to be updated or remade as that would at least have a better chance of happening.

 

those mods are dead for at least one year and their owners decided to abandon them. there's hardly any chance to revive them

I think the mods you want are newer than this, but if you have steam, you can opt into a 0.4 version via the beta tab.

 

I downloaded auriga from some sketchy 3rd party site on which it was uploaded, probably without permission. I didn't have any other choice really.

I don't have the ability to choose 0.4 beta (assuming that what you meant was going on steam, game, properties, beta). Nonetheless, I found the solution. Sort of. It's not the proudest thing I've ever done, and reading this sentence you probably already guessed I downloaded some ancient torrent. But I don't have any guilty conscience about that act since I'm a rightful owner of this game. But I don't deny that what I did is not very right. You get the point.

 

The 0.4 beta should be there. It says "DX9" I believe .
