I have been watching a lot of mud bogging and the trucks look amazing and i feel like if someone was to make a mod witch adds a massive amount of lift and just make it so tall it would be really amazing. I have posted attached a file witch shows what i mean.
grave digger was one before it was a monster truck. tip: Dennis Anderson made grave digger from a ford F100 in 1982.
I guess you forgot about the Search feature on this forum. There is a mod already out there called the "Revamped CRD Monster Truck" Beta - Revamped CRD Monster Truck | BeamNG Its here and ready to be used for you, its only 89.9MB and its worth it
Yeah, there are a whole pile of those trucks down my way... couple of my friends build them regularly (I buy the parts they don't use off of the stock trucks to use on my own projects for next to nothing ) Here are a couple of pics of one of the many one of them has built.
Yeah the mud bog trucks just look a lot better than the crd monster truck --- Post updated --- i have made a d15 like almost twice as high as the stock d15
why on earth would he make a config for that. It's just the "D-Series BigFoot Monster Truck" with the largest tires, maximum lift and maximum spring rate.
I completely forgot about that mod. But I have a better mud bogger @MitchHarry1. The off-road hopper mod isn’t a D-Series but you can make one hell of a beast with it!
If you like mud bogging with trucks, I'd highly recommend a game called Mud Runner. I play that in addition to BeamNG. BeamNG is good for crashing and dry racing, but it doesn't simulate mud. Mud Runner does and it uses real physics like BeamNG.
Well I wouldn't say real physics. Spintires' physics apply to the terrain, not really the trucks. I wish BeamNG had those kind of physics along with the physics we have now. But hey, it could come along
The physics apply to both the terrain and the trucks, unless you mean truck on truck collisions which are simplified but those are rare and not the point of the game. The truck components such as the log carrier react realistically to the motion of the truck.
It is always something worth to wonder, why people insist of using wheel, where track should be used?
Spintires physics are very weird. If you edited a truck before you'd understand. It works, at low speeds, well enough.
I somewhat agree. I wouldn't call the physics in Mud Runner very weird (are you talking about the original SpinTires or the newer MudRunner?). At low speeds, they are quite authentic I'd say. At higher speeds on paved roads, the vehicles seem a little unstable.
