    A supercharged/turbocharged V8 is quite big for a compact off-roader. The real previous Wrangler had a 2.8 I4, 3.6 V6 and 3.0 V6 diesel, though I guess a small-block NA V8 wouldn't hurt anybody.

    That's basically an '18 Roamer.
Gavril Kappa sounds more fitting to the new nomenclature.

Sniper sounds way too off for a car named after a lake.
Either Roamer like MAD said, or something like Erie (a trans-country lake in Canada and the USA.)

It'd work better for a military based vehicle, not a common American SUV.

Sniper sounds like a weird name for a car, and there are real Toyota Vanguard and Standard Vanguard.
    --- Post updated ---
Military vehicles usually have some sort of alphanumerics (eg. CUCV, HMMMV, M715) or nicknames based on them (Huey, Hummer)
