There is now a separate thread for this feature: https://www.beamng.com/threads/announcing-automation-beamng-drive-collaboration.55420/#post-874734
it'll probably be like the config mods, but at least they'll be better than the config mods where it just changes parts
Add it to your steam wishlist, then grab it when they do a sale for best win Video had date, July 13th, so does that mean there will be next update by then?
0.13 could be the largest update of all time... Italy and Test Track maps, New Car Bendy Bus New Configurations Among other things.
The engine and suspension converters are in my opinion great additions, but I'm not really a fan of it automatically delivering a ready mod for you, as this way there will be a ton of "modders" with just converted automation vehicles. I do look forward to the other features of the next update. I'd also love to see an accurate turbo and suoercharger calculator for beam. I do hope that the new converter will provide us with accurate thermals as well as fuel economy.
Since this makes cars that just work straight from automation this could really help with the mesh-slap mods, and if people want to add parts or interiors this could help people get into modding
It could and it will, but it will unfortunally create a huge overflow of those converted vehicles... The only solution for me would to exclude them from the default mod page and just have let's say Mods like we have now and Converts for the converted vehicles.
It's a ask for dev but for you too Do all car shown in video will be released in next update or it will be to us to release them ???
Not really fitting but I just noticed that at some time the description for the East Coast Chase 4 scenario was changed from "Stop the BeamCom Van" to this: Don't know if it has been done to others as well though, I might check when I'm finished with this one. Nice touch! UPDATE: I haven't found any more changes to the four police scenarios I played right now. There could still have benn some to others, I'm curious now...
Im rather excited about the automation thing but i really am interrested in seeing how they work as the crashed didnt quite look up to scratch. Also how will they handle the body changing and so on?
