Rules: Must be on-topic Must be about Real Life monster trucks No Spamming --- Post updated --- WF18: well tonight was one for the history books. Adam Anderson loses in Round 1, Koheler in Avenger makes in the Semi finals, Ryan Anderson wins racing finally is the WF18 racing champ, a forward momentum backflip done by Neil Elliot in Monster Jam 25, and they brought out about 65 trucks for the encore.
we will never have Bigfoot in monster jam because of this. MJ is sponsored by BKT and Bigfoot is sponsored by Firestone
so i just did a conversion, the engine that Bigfoot 1 has, in liters anyway, is 10.4 liters. in cubic inches, it is 640. pretty big engine.
Bigfoot never participated in MJ cause FELD wanted to buy out the Bigfoot name, and Bob Chandler was having none of that.
Wait what does the left RII channel mean and the right RII channel mean? like I know what they do but what is the difference
Hmm I just found out that bigfoot 20 is electric makes no noise. I dont want monster trucks to be electric because then you loose out on the best part of the monster truck
No offense but I personally hate it when I see a Monster Truck I wanna actually here it it's loud but lets be honest everyone loves the rumble of the trucks.
From a practical standpoint electric probably makes more sense for monster trucks. They probably use a bunch of gas in a very short amount of time. Electric can probably keep them going longer in the long run.
Diesel is ran only on diesel engines. XDP, Air Dog, and the severely postponed Brodozer run diesel with a diesel engine. All other trucks use alcohol injected engines that run on methanol.
One time when I went to a monster truck show and Equalizer was doing donuts in victory lane (during freestyle and I am sure you guys know who the Equalizer is) a piece of mud came flying at me and i'm recording this and unbelievably it went right through my hood (I was wearing a rain poncho) and through my poncho. Talk about a lucky shot!
Can someone explain all the other chassis for me? I know that there is the cohen chassis, CRD chassis, and willman chassis, as well as other custom chassis. Which trucks run on which and why?
