Just a quick tip, you don't need samples longer than 10 seconds tops, having 1 minute long sound samples is just a bit of waste/bloat of resources . Shorten the loops into 5-10 seconds loops and you'll cut the file size down tremendously. Nice to have more Forza sounds in game though, at least, that's what they sound like . Glad you've managed to adopt and follow the new work ethic .
Very nice mod, enjoying the sounds and the performance. If you could possible add a turbocharger to this engine and a ECU upgrade to pull this up to 300WHP that would be amazing, could be tagged and the "performance" version of the engine. And, if you wanted a moderate performance increase, a smaller turbo and ECU to about 220WHP would be sufficient. For the sounds, these performance engines will probably need forced induction, no turbo lag and DSG farts . I will be happy to help with the sounds.
Hi, and thank you! I can assure you that there is a point to the long sounds It gets really clippy if I use shorter sounds, because it's two files on top of eachother and they never line up. So this is how I manage. It works well! And thank you! I could definitely do that! I've gotta make some stuff like that anyways She scoots! Traction control is definitely necessary haha
Well, all of mine are 2-6 seconds and they don't overlap or clip. You just need to spend time finding the right frequency to cut and the right amount of fade in/out on the end/start of the samples and you are all good. Also, try to avoid using the same sound for on and offload with offload just being a quieter version of the on sound. FMOD favours distinction more than anything else that's why i record a frontal engine note sound for "on" throttle, and usually, and exhaust sound for "off" . Keep experimenting, sometimes you'll find it all balances out perfectly with a little bit of extra detail .
Don't worry, already got that trick covered! On-load has a ton of exhaust sound on it, and the EQ is tweaked significantly Same thing with my Gavril Engines mod, off-load is standard "engine b" sound from FM4, and then on-load has way more treble and the exhaust track is added. I know what you mean, it definitely adds to the experience!

Hi, the transmission is very good but I found some problems with your engine and differential. There's an 2.96 Open Front Differential which works but you didn't mention it in your mod overview. An open AWD transfer case which results in very low top speed. The engine does not overrev damage when the wrong ECU selected. Somehow I managed to fix them by tweaking some parameters. And I will send you the file via PM which you can use them in your resource update.
