WIP The Offroad Van

it seems to be front heavy, maybe under the spare mount, add a cool looking bright red fuel cell

 

- There will be some engine upgrade yes
- Sorry im not a fan of big wheels, so I did not think of that, and it can not be changed now, sorry.
- and the only thing left from the van body is the roof and sidepanels, and don`t worry, it will be a bit more stable when all the parts I have planed come together.
- the fuel tanks are alredy modeled, should be in the next progress video (they are not red)

 

they? as in multiple fuel tanks... if so... very intresting

 

Will this be a part of the H-Series or will it be a new vehicle?

 

Probably same vehicle like the Barstow

 

BeamNG - Some more progress on the Offroad Van



- Added 2 fuel tanks between the front and the rear frame
- Made a custom J-beam structure for the fuel tanks, and in big crashes they may fall out.
- Have added some missing details for the rear suspension (the lower spring mound now looks connected to the rear axle)
- Added some bolts and bushing to the rear tool locker`s top and bottom.
- Added a bracket, bushings and bolts to the fuel tank (so it looks connected to the floor)

 

i just want to use it right now. i know not yet.

This vehicle without a body reminds me of a blocky rock bouncer

 

I wonder if this'll ever get a version with wider track width

 

If not, it's just two lines of code you need to change

 

I can make it a bit wider, but to much and this happens. And no i do not want to make another axle. sorry

 

well, you can make a widen version and put (unstable) on the part name or just have the configs not go past the limits

 

Not really that big of a deal, I'll just wait for someone to come up with one

I doubt he'll make one since this is made for offroading, but you can make it yourself by tuning it once it's released. That's more fun anyways since you can set it up just how you want it.

 

BeamNG - Some more progress on the offroad van.

- Added front and rear bumper (modified Van Offroad bumpers, and retextured)
- Added in the sidepipes from the Offroad Barstow mod (modified the models and J-beam a bit)
- Added some covers for the rear light holes (they can fall off)
