    It's a flat engine.

It leaves a lot of vertical space, because it's, well, flat.

think of the sheet metal as behind the engine, and it might make more sense. Anyways, I just wanted to put that thought out there. The more I look at it, the more I think it is rear engined because if it were front engined, it would have a super large overhang because the engine would sit in front of the front axle, making it super nose heavy and likely to nosedive a lot under heavy braking.

To me it doesn't look like a F4 engine, more F2, which is more possible for jap, or italian car, I just hope that it isn't a beatle knock off.

well engine like that weighs about as much if not less than a person
With 2 people you can easilly lift a whole Fiat 126p's engine and take it off the car.

Audis and Subarus have front-forward engines, and they aren't bad.

Yes, but I still think we need more information to actually figure out what the car will look like and the layout etc. It could possibly be front engined, but it isn't definite and won't be until more information arises.

That's exactly what I thought. Or a 600/850, being powered by what looks like a 4 cyl. engine.

I also think it's a Beetle as well. The model name might relate to it's other name, Type 1.

They should fix the UI instead of adding new content.

so here's what we know, to recap:
    - it is (probably) rear engine
    - it is a hatchbackish car
    - it is based off of a mini/fiat 500/volkswagen beetle
    - modeling & texturing looks pretty finished

    anything else so far?

I'd rather the content we get work 100% than have lots of 50% working content.

Fulmine was supposed to be a GT. I know it’s possible they recycled old names, but the Fulmine is so anticipated that I feel it would be a really bad move to take the name and apply it to something like this.

As for what brand it could be... I doubt it would be a Civetta unless the rest of the car looks completely different than what the teaser pic suggests. ETK isn’t out of the question but I would be surprised. I would say ETK/Jargl/Charmand are all an equal low likelihood. Hopefully it’ll be from a new company.

    Why would they, anyway?

"Fulmine" means "lightning" in Italian. That car looks anything but lightning-fast...

Besides, if it's actually an italian vehicle as we think, there's absolutely no way they'd brand it as a Civetta.
