I was talking to my girlfriend on the phone earlier today and she was actually saying something serious, but the phone was being glitchy.. So at the end of one of her words the phone had a derp moment and made whatever the heck she was saying sound exactly like Chewbacca. I started laughing like an idiot and that didn't exactly please her... Should have kept it to myself XD

EDIT - Just realized how off topic we are o_O

That's why I said the thread could have been so much more fun in offtopic.

I'm sure over the years I have done a lot of really stupid things, yet put on the spot I can't remember any of them

I broke both bones in my lower left arm in PE (physical education) at school.
I was put in goal in football (soccer to you Americans) and the ball was coming towards me (at speed i might add) so i put my hands up to stop it and it hit mainly around my fingers/palm of my left hand. It then continued to bend the hand back so far that it snapped both bones in my lower arm, it made a rather satisfying noise, best way i can describe it even if that is an odd thing to say. It didn't hurt at all, just felt a little odd, but i did feel quite tired/faint straight after it happening. The hospital put a temporary pot on it for 1 day because they were to busy to deal with me on the day it happened, i had been waiting in hospital waiting rooms for about 5 hours (woo British nhs) .I used it as an excuse to not go in goal for the rest of the time where PE was compulsory in school, result i guess.

I also saved the goal too.

I stayed for 4 hours in a waiting room with a head injury.... Tripped on a loose fitting carpet in a corridor in school, smashed head on corner of exposed brick wall. Suffered heavy concussion and had to have stitches on my forehead. They are normally meant to prioritise head injury... But then this is Hinchingbrooke Hospital who hardly had (have?) a stellar reputation, supposedly not so bad anymore but I've been fortunate enough to not require medical attention from them recently, although when I took my sister to an appointment there they wanted £2.50 to park my car, screw that shit, can get lunch for that.
I hated PE... Waste of time.

But we should probably move here: http://www.beamng.com/threads/6786-Funny-moments!

    That's all that matters.
One time I was simultaneously kicked someone that was laying down and jumping on the trampoline, and I rolled my foot that I was using to bounce. To this day, that was the most painful thing that has ever happened to me. I can't even describe it. It was a special pain. Worse than breaking a bone. Way worse. Anyway, my friends just sat there laughing their asses off as I rolled back and forth on the trampoline in pain. Once I had control of my body again, my dad was there. He just looked at me, then walked back across the yard and went inside. Guess he was having a bad day or something lol. Not only was my foot hurting REALLY REALLY bad, I was faced with the task of how to get home. I was about 200 feet away from my house, and I had to get there my self. There really is no good way to crawl without using one whole leg. It hurts constantly, and if it gets shaken or really even moved, it sends jolts of pain all through my body. About half an hour of misery, I got home. Even then I didn't get much help from my parents. I got some ice, and went and played wheelman, the worst driving game ever made. I never went to the doctor, idk why. We have insurance and everything, I guess my parents just don't love me enough. The worst part about it was the thanksgiving dinner later. I just crawled around my aunts house. Like a dog. I also got way more attention from relatives than normal. Any attention from relatives is too much, so that wasn't fun. But when I was coming home from that, I had hurt my foot that afternoon, my foot just felt dead. Like no feeling at all just dead. It still isn't the same, if i'm sitting down for awhile, and I get back up, it hurts bad for ten steps or so. It's like it has to warm up or something. It's also really easy to hurt, and I have hurt it badly >5 times since.

That was like 4 years ago any damage that's been done is irreversible.

I find it odd that they make you wait for a long time before getting any medical attention in the UK. Sitting supporting a broken arm for that length of time wasn't fun and i am sure it was far better than what you had to deal with. But a sling or some form of bandage to support it would have been nice.

To be honest what further harm could going there do, its way more likely to help than do any bad

Reminds me, I need to get my knee looked at... Although that probably means a trip back to hinchingbrooke \o/

Well, there was enough blood on them that we simply binned my clothes. To be cleaned up would have been nice...

Well they cut mine up with scissors so they could get to my arm. So they weren't of much use after that point in time. I live directly between two hospitals so we usually go to the nicer one but i didn't really have that choice when in the back of an ambulance.

Yeah I guess, never really thought of the need to go. Besides, for some reason my parents still insist on bringing me to this huge pediatrics place, and no matter what is hurt, I always end up getting molested, so I have been avoiding that place.

I was playing rugby (if you don't know what it is its like, American Football but with rules ! XD) I thought I was badass and strong tried to tackle their biggest guy that was also their fastest my head went in-between his legs (an awkward moment no one should endure) Dislocated my neck and my ankle but he tripped over my dead body XD and fell in to touch !(outside the pitch) and it was a lineout
we scored from it Hurray and won the match 34 - 7
I scored 3 tries before that and they all got converted that's a whopping 21 points and I play prop trust me in pro rugby they never ever ever score but I'm fast and not fat but got strength and a little weight(Feels like I'm advertising myself to a modelling agency !)

Good luck to Scotland in the six nations !(I'm Scottish !)

Today, after we washed my dad's highlander, I was gonna pull it back into the garage. There isn't enough room in the driveway to turn the car around, at least not easily, so I was gonna pull out into the cul-de-sack to turn around. Well there is this really steep driveway that is kinda at a 90 degree angle to mine, and the woman that lives there just flies down it into the road. So anyway, I kinda took off because I'm a punk kid. Well when I was nearing the road, I saw a car coming down the steep driveway in my peripheral vision, so I hit the brakes. The part of my driveway that meets the road is kinda sloped down, so the abs just screamed, and I came to a stop. I really didn't brake too hard. The stuff in the back seats didn't fly into the floor, but the slope just made the braking look so much more dramatic. Anyway, my mom watched it and she's like, "What the hell are you doing" and I explained to her what happened and of course she didn't believe me. It turned out that I just imagined the car coming towards me somehow, so I did that to basically brand new tires for nothing.
I just went out there and looked, and I actually locked up the right front wheel for about six inches. Damn it.

I think this is the wrong thread. We should use this one for non-BeamNG posts: http://www.beamng.com/threads/6786-Funny-moments!/page6

This thread has basically turned into a "stupid things you have tried IRL" thread. There aren't many beamng related replies. IMO it's more interesting reading stupid stuff people have done in real life than just in Beamng.

True, this thread is in the showroom though, not the best place for IRL stuff.
