i once watched some youtube vid about old movies for kids that were/are terrifying even for adults. jim hensons - the dark crystal,+ labyrinth, the witches, felidae, watership down, brave little toaster and so on. then i remembered all of these to be my favorites as a kid and some of them cornerstones of my childhood... wich in retrospective explains alot i guess xD but back OT: those horrific "Teletubbies" from back then creeped the living s++t out of me, althoug i wasnt a kid anymore.

I couldn't agree more. I even remember liking Caillou as a kid, now I'm just annoyed by his bratty behavior. Seriously, who would want him as their child? Definitely not me. To pour salt on the open wound, I've heard parents say that he's even influenced their kids to imitate his behavior. Ouch.
