I would make an meme out of it, but I don't feel like it anyways. Has anyone considered making an Oregon-based/inspired city?
Was considering it but as I play vanilla, the map themes made me opt for California. Next, is Illinois sorry
Oregon has tons of everything, that’s what makes it so amazing. The other things that made me opt for California were the style of land and flattness of land, then I started placing palm trees... and I kept going... and going...
I would if I could. I play on Xbox though. I downloaded the Cities skylines trial onto my laptop and it ran like complete shit. Also thanks to the lack of a proper mouse and numpad I never worked out how to rotate the camera
I cannot run C:S any longer because a couple seconds later, it crashes. Even with less than 150 mods, I still have issues. (Even with the Beam folder deleted for more space.)
Same only I can’t run it on mine vinilla. Those Cities skylines youtubers have started annoying me with their monster PC’s
Even various YouTubers had issues with the game crashing. That rarely happened with SC2013, surprisingly.
I know, one youtubers has lost ALL of his saves and his computer has 24gb of ram. Anyway gtg, it’s 22:22 where I am on a Sunday night
I think I can relate. It seems like whenever I'm on C:S's Workshop, I have high tendencies to go on subscription sprees. I wonder how many outdated stuff I'm subscribed to.
Today's the day Parklife was released, and from what all I've seen so far, it looks like a really cool update. I look forward to checking it out in the future.
Do you know this YouTuber two dollars twenty? He was anticipating Parklife in one of his episodes in his Springwood series. Here's his latest episode on that project:
Speaking of this game, I think I know where Colossal Order/Paradox Interactive got their siren sounds from. I've found some UK siren sounds on freeSFX.co.uk that sounds a lot like the ones heard in the game. The third and fifth to top ones. http://www.freesfx.co.uk/soundeffects/sirens/?p=2
I just did a quick search of Colossal Order, and I found out their Finnish. Also, they made two games previous to Cities Skylines.... Cities in Motion (basically in other words, it's the predecessor to Cities Skyline). Coincidentally, another game company well-known for their popular video game (Angry Birds) is also based in Finland.
