It's "outdated" cause theres a new version ready but it got delayed due to a problem with the website.
It's also outdated because it currently has overheating issues that are going to be fixed with the update pending.
With that being the case, is the new body going to be placed over the 2.0 frame or will it have it's own? I saw three naked bodies on the video showing the updates but got confused when they looked the same. I may be an idiot and couldn't tell. Either way looking forward to it.
New body is on a variation of the standard, 1st. gen CRD chassis. They are pretty much the same, except the new one has a support halo in place of the usual rear support bar.
I haven't went back to read any "Update logs" But what's the plan for the "Soon" update? What are you looking to do in the future of the Mod? I've fitted a 4 speed transmission from a drag car in the one I got, Upgraded the cooling system and whined it off the Alcohol with E85 as the replacement. In other words, I edited the trans cooling and turned the power down a bit to be closer to what I would have.
The mod was more or less turned upside down. A lot changes "under the hood" that might not be immediately apparent, but should improve the experience with the mod by quite some margin. You can also take a look at the feature video posted a few days ago.
I've been looking at getting a RC monster truck, Axial SMT10, And turning it into a mega mud truck, The real differences is wheels and tires, Everything else is "Basically" the same. How hard would it be to convince you guys to throw in a set of like 70 inch Tractor tires?
Lol Not even 67? 67 has always been my favorite number. Seriously though, Tire size doesn't really matter. I realize they are not exact,But they are close enough that they could be substituted for the other. But In beam, The differences are negligible since you can use the editable suspension and engine parts in the game. Spoiler: Chassis pics Mega truck chassis Monster truck
CRD is a spaceframe design. Mega Trucks are usually steel body on (modified) ladder frames. They would be closer to a modified D-Series. Anyway, tractor tires (dual, even) have been experimented with success before:
