Accusing other people of being "scared" (as if a person exists who isn't scared of something), then stating the above is ironic beyond belief. Either your government doesn't give a damn about you and you are super paranoid, or you are up to some seriously illegal stuff. Most people do not exceed the range of an EV. Therefore for those people it is the very definition of "not an issue". For those that do, it's probably very rare, and they are probably due to eat some food and teak a break by the time they reach the need to recharge. Clearly this is an issue for some people though, I think you will struggle to find people who would suggest an electric car to anyone who is driving 400-500mile journeys regularly. Stating that "no one seems to realize is an issue" is absolute nonsense. There are loads of people working on systems to deal with these sorts of things. Even if all of the electricity for electric cars came from coal, it would still be cleaner than ICE. One big coal power station is far more efficient than millions of tiny little power stations inside each vehicle. As for the rest of that, of course there are going to be hardcore environmentalists who think that we should all be living in mud huts with no electricity supply. Of course there are people who are going to complain about anything because it is close to where they live. That is just reality. You could take 1000 of the most environment hating people you like, tell them that you are about to build a power station 20 miles from them and they will be quoting environmental arguments against it until they are blue in the face. I would argue that "good" environmentalists are the ones who are working to improve things, rather than saying no to literally everything. The ones designing (and implementing) the systems that allow fish to swim upstream past hydroelectric plants, monitoring the effectiveness of these systems in real time. Essentially the ones putting the cognitive effort in to try and improve things, to build solutions to problems. This isn't to say there aren't cases where "no" is a good answer. But some causes are more important than others, its a "boy who cried wolf" type thing. If you moan about everything people will ignore you, if you work to try and improve things most of the time, but occasionally say no to things, then people start to listen. That's just plain strawman bollocks.

In fact, they have a whole outlet for those issues, usually below the rear bumper. Strawman much? Back in the early 20th century, the oil industry wasn't able to fuel over a billion cars. Yet you can somehow fuel your set of wheels right now. Nope, my dad is a car enthusiast, has a Corolla and considered sourcing an S bodykit. The problem is that the anti-regulation argument often boils down to MUH BIG VEEAYGHT.
What do you think of the design root Aston Marin is taking with its new '19 Vantage? The grille looks weird, but the headlights and the shape is nice. At-least there changing it up, and not going with the "More vents=better" design language.
I like it. Much like the DB11 last year, great proportions, some details are a bit over the top (grille, side scoops...). Front looks a bit nondescript, but an handsome design nonetheless

I don't like the facia, but I do like that they are bringing back the upward swoop of the rear windows from the Datsun era.
When I first saw it I wasn’t sure if I liked t, but it’s grown on me. I’d say it looks cool, almost like an arrow, but it also feels almost clinical. Overall I think I like it though, I’d have to see one in person to know for sure.
The front grille is way too big for me, and there is a lack of a bottom grille, which makes it looks off.
I was legitimately annoyed by some of the titles in those threads, especially the one titled "USA = Totalitarian State That Can Kill Its Own Citizens At Will" in my head I thought, "no that's North Korea." That's what I call a good looking truck IMO. Got a few questions: Does it run? And what's the milage? I think it looks great. Yes.

I just love the financing people at car dealerships, they're always so trustworthy and they can make great deals for you if you ask! /s.... Yeah no. Parents are in the market for a new SUV, found one that's caught their attention, dad calls and applies for financing, he gets approved and everything checks out fine, dad wants to put a certain amount of money down for the initial payment while the financing covers the rest and the finance guy agrees to this over the phone. Come later on the day after I get off from class, both him and me make a trip down there and check out said SUV, everything all checks out good, it's what they wanted and all. Test drive goes great, dad's set on taking it home later on in the day, so then comes the paperwork, signatures signed, everything copied and printed, and then this is where it gets to the "fun" part is the Financing, and the guy who will be called "FG". We meet the guy, pleasantries exchanged, and we go to his office to finish up the process, my dad then asks FG if he remembers the certain amount of money to be put down, and the "great deal" he had promised over the phone earlier on in the day, cue FG cutting him off and shaking his head, saying "Sorry but I can't help you at all here, this is what you'll pay, and what the "bank" needs you to put this totally different and much higher amount instead." "But what happened to the deal YOU promised over the phone?" "They just told me that it's not plausible." "Okay then, well, I gotta run home to get the check then." "Oh, the check needs to be under a certain name too, if you can't, I can take cash." By this point dad's pretty much pissed, but he's excused himself from the dealership, but left me behind to make them think that he's actually getting the money, but in reality, he just went to go call mom and tell her what happened, and then about 15 minutes later he calls me and tells me to just nonchalantly walk out of the dealership and down the road so he can come and pick me up. Cue the very awkward moment where I get up from the lobby and walk past FG, the salesguy my parents initially talked to, and the porter who had gotten the SUV all filled up and ready to go, and endure their stares as I walked off of the lot and down the road far enough that they couldn't see and wait for my dad to come pick me up. It sounds insane, but looking at it, FG was wanting us to pay 3 times more than what we had agreed to, and he wasn't backing down from it, but I don't know, the dealership had called my dad earlier today for renegotiating, so we'll have to see what happens. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Car dealerships.
Sounds like a really sketchy dealership. In the past I have tried to buy some products from a dealer as a Christmas present (an official Hyundai picnic blanket, partly cause they would get use out of it, partly because they own a Hyundai and I figured it would be a bit of a laugh). I purchased the item from them over ebay, money left my account and went to them. I sent them an email asking if I could pick it up two days later, they responded by saying that they had accidentally put the price too low and that they weren't going to give it to me. They said they could offer me a refund if I wanted... :/ This being a main brand, multi location dealer, I should add. And the product being of £15 value at other shops (I had paid £10 (they wanted £5 for delivery)). So I presume they hadn't been expecting someone to buy it for collection and refused on those grounds. They stated that I would have to cancel the order in order to get the refund (because afaik, what they did is against ebay TOS). I am pretty sure in the UK that once you have paid for a product (as in they now have your money), they can't refuse to give you what you have purchased. But frankly I didn't want to deal with them, especially since I would have been picking it up in person. So got the refund and figured out something else instead. IMO, any legit business would have taken the £5 hit and fixed the issue for future purchasers. Not to mention that my family has bought two cars from them, so they got their moneys worth out of us.
