Gratz to the devs! What made you jump on Greenlight now? I seem to remember you guys saying you wanted to wait until the game was more finished before you submitted it. Was it the rumors of Valve shutting down Greenlight that sparked a now-or-never attitude?

Maybe they are running out of money. Actually, I bet the money they made on release would be plenty enough to last them until now. But let's have a little math class here.
Lets say they sold.....20,000 copies. I really have no idea how many they sold. That's just a number I picked. Lets assume everyone paid 15 bucks. I donated some, but there are alot of people out there who can't really afford it. Anyway, 20,000x15=300,000. That's quite a bit of money. Once you split it up 4 ways, that's 75,000 a piece. I'm not really sure that's how they split it up, but I'm just gonna pretend it was. I'm sure taxes and other stuff took their chunks out of the sum, so it's probably less that that, if they even sold that many copies. I really don't know. 75,000 bucks is plenty enough to live on for 6 months. Maybe it was the rumors of valve shutting down greenlight, but from a financial point of view, why would they do that? They have to be making a killing off of greenlight. Idk. So my conclusion to this is: I don't know.
By the way, I know it's none of my or anyone's business how much money you guys made, and in no way am I prying for information. We've all done the math in our heads at least once, just out of curiosity.
