On Hold Short Wentward

In 0.12 the Wentward Bus was added and I'm going to make the first mod for it

This is still WIP and just a quick Intro and the bus came out today so you wouldn't expect much pics but more is coming in the future

 

Are you editing the original model, or are you making your own? This should not be too hard, but it could be difficult. Just shrink the jbeam like opposite of your long hopper mod

 

Okay, so I've put the meshes into the game

Not everything is done but it's a start

It would be something like DT25, wouldn't it? I'd assume 40 is the length in feet.

 

Didn't notice that thought 40 is trim level and L means LWB

Okay so we have our first problem

Floating doors.
I can't ctrl-A it Because It'll mess it up so, should I either Node offset or try another solution

hey you wont need 2 door on the shorter version, its useless because they are to close together. remove the rear one, keep the front one, you could replace the rear door with a front side window! just a sugestion so it make more sence and legit

Okay I fixed up everything the was floating in the back (except the driveshaft)

But jbeaming is hard for the body, because I wanna remove some stuff

And I wanna connect the areas, but if I do that It'll mess up the jbeam file for me, so if you know how to do or fix that please respond

I don't think I'll do that but If I make an even shorter version then I'll put that in consideration.

 

well 3 ppl agree with my idea,, you should consider right now , cuzz for real look on the normal version, how long it is between the 2 door, there 2x more ppl that will get out soo its normal to have 2 door there, but on your short version i dont see the need of 2 door, its doesnt look good at first, they are way to close. and second, there 2x less ppl that will get in or out between the 2 door, soo think about it dude , just because of that i dont see the point of downloading it because it doenst make sence right now. anyway good luck

 

i may make a splitable version, i just need a proper video tutorial because those tutorial on the forms is so dam hard.
