    You don't, it's automatic.

    If your PC:
    64-bit will be used.
If one of those isn't met, it will use 32-bit.

64-bit programs takes advantaged of +4GB RAM.
You would not get any benefit from running 64-bit, so it sticks to 32-bit.

Install more RAM if you want to get 64-bit for some reason.

A 32-bit process can normally only access 2 GB of memory, and I've seen BeamNG use 4+ on my PC with 16 GB of RAM. That said, I do think he would benefit slightly with 64-bit but I'd still advise a RAM upgrade. 4 GB of RAM isn't really enough on a 64-bit Windows OS in my experience.

BeamNG.drive\Bin64 is where he could find the x64 exe and launch it directly. This does seem to launch correctly and may be useful to see if it would help him at all.

Then he will just crash all the time, beam regularly uses more that 4gb on my pc. Even more so when using big maps and or more than one car.
It is up to the 32-bit software to use more than 2gb(large address aware), which I would think beam already does.
