I have been working on an old roadster since friday. It is inspired by the MG TD. Name will be Fintray Roadster. Voor mensen van de MGTTO: Nederlandse beschrijving komt onder aan dit bericht. Powered by a 50bhp 1.25L i4 engine, it isn't very fast but it is quite nimble because of the low weight. Parts are scratch made or sourced from the miramar. Jbeam is scratch made, apart from the rear suspension which is a modified pigeon suspension. Dont ask me for any release date. Progress will be slow since textures will be from scratch as well. There wont be a folding softtop, I dont even know if I will include "all-weather protection" EDIT: 30-4-2018, maybe I will, I have been thinking about it and I will try to do it, I don't know whether I will succeed It will also be RHD only. Aangezien er geen goede basis is om deze auto op te maken heb ik besloten om alles zelf te maken. Het 3D model is bijna helemaal door mij gemaakt, op een paar kleine dingen na. Die komen van auto's van het spel. Deze auto, de Fintray Roadster wordt geen 1:1 replica van een TD maar ik probeer de technische basis zo realistisch mogelijk na te maken. Not really. Late '30s at best. Integrated wheelarches only became a thing in the late '40s/early '50s.
By the looks of the screenshot, you are doing a very nice job. Looking forward to see the final product. Take your time and enjoy your creation. We most likley will when it's available. Keep it up.
People see mods this far complete and think they will go fast. and because of that I know its still very incomplete. Keep up the good work!
Nice progress so far, will there be a more powerful engine option? Or will it just have the 50bhp I4?
