i could see a good RWD production idea out of this, sort of like a delorean... my mind is strange. but 90s popups with rear louvers/vents, gullwing doors, and a giant front trunk could be cool... body would need a redesign tho. a HUGE one.
Review @RetroStevie (making a review like real car review) "I've always wanted a rear engined, rear wheel drive Japanese sports car, and Okudai's latest offering has me covered. There are many different options in the range and all of them are absolutely fantastic. My personal favorites are the Sandwich Custom and the Kaioso. On my road test of each model, I have found out that all of the cars are very fun to drive. They are fantastic around corners, very quick and drive great. There is a very nice engine sound from the exterior and interior. The car is fairly well equipped but also is fairly lightweight, making it really fun to drive. I've often found myself drifting it around on my test. There is also a police version which would be a fantastic car for the police to use, being fairly quick and pretty decent to drive. My pick: Sandwich Custom. A perfect lightweight, fun to drive sports car that won't kill you when you drive it but is still very fun, and fairly quick. Total rating - 12/10"
Porsche, Ferrari, and Lamborghini make their sports cars rear engined, also the sbr4 in game is too. Yes it will make it a bit different to control but it wouldn't be unique if it was just a 200bx with a more powerful engine. There are lots of cars that are rear engined. I feel it would be cool to have one. Now I'm not trying to cause problems or make and argument as I completely understand your points that you have made. I just think it would be cool to see a rear engined 200bx
That's where you're slightly wrong... Out of the 3 you mentioned, only Porsche has rear-engined cars, where as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti etc. are mid-engine
Those cars were specifically designed to be rear/mid engined though. The 200BX is set up to be front engined and putting the engine in the back will require the car to be completely reworked to be anywhere near as well-handling as it is stock. This is a situation where it would be better to simply keep the engine up front.
Yeah I forgot about that --- Post updated --- Yeah I understand that and It makes sense. In the end its up to the creator so we'll just have to wait and see what he does
turbo charging a V6 --- Post updated --- it not as bad as you think the car handles quite nicely especially around corners its hard for me to control a car with alot of power and RWD but not this one
Oh heckin yeah Edit: where is your group m8 Edit 2: I made a drag config, as this car makes a great drag car. And it won't let me upload the .pc file. heck.
Hey, I'm very pleasantly surprised! It actually works really well! You did a very good job with the engine model, I wasn't really expecting it to be modeled already. My only criticism are the "OKUDAI" and "S88" logos, I find them a tad too big so they look a bit out of place. If you could also make it look like a standard 200BX from the outside (or even include the Twoima parts? That'd be neat), I would love it. Handling wise, it's not really what I expected (heavy oversteer, snappy when off gas) but actually the opposite, an understeer-y car that you can send sideways playing with inertia and which is very controllable in a drift (actually, maybe the easiest to control drift car I've seen in BeamNG that doesn't use drift steering? amazing). I found out, however, it does not brake too well, probably due to the reduced weight on the front. No idea how that could be fixed without putting useless weight in the front. Cool mod!
